Mumsnetters' top picks from ASOS SUPPY - ASOS' new homeware range

Hi all,

Mumsnetters love ASOS for their affordable basics, brilliant occasionwear, and unlimited next day delivery for less than a tenner. But did you know they also do homeware?

This month they've launched a shiny new home and furniture collection called ASOS SUPPLY, and we want to know what you think of it.

So, whether you like the sound of a woven laundry basket that you’ll never see the bottom of, or you think your DC would love a wall hook shaped like an elephant, let us know which SUPPLY items you could see in your home to be in with a chance of winning one of three £150 vouchers to fund your ASOS habit. We'll be picking a winner on Monday 25 February - good luck!

ASOS haven’t paid for this thread but they are providing the prizes and are interested to hear what you think.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

Love the ombré storage basket as mentioned by a PP. I wish I had a stylish house instead of a collection of stuff Blush

margaritasbythesea · 19/02/2019 13:45

I think it's more interesting and distinctive than comparative ranges and well priced. I'm thinking if the Habitat at Argos range, Ikea and H and M. Bit more like Anthtopolgie.

Thinking of getting myself this plant hanger.

Slurpy · 19/02/2019 15:17

Ooh, I like! Especially the plant hangers and pots (plant obsessed at the moment)

Olivecake · 19/02/2019 16:09

I love the look of the printed storage box - we are in the process of moving house and these would be great in my son’s new room to help us organise his toys and clothes.

SheSellSeaShells · 19/02/2019 20:05

I really like the boho vibe of this range, I like the rugs a lot, and I particularly like the ASOS SUPPLY bamboo woven plant hanger.

PickAChew · 19/02/2019 20:14

I couldn't see much of it in my house, but I'm a sucker for cute teatowels

Great, I love asos!

The abstract triangle quilted throw is lovely and would look great on my bed.

I also love the Pom Pom bath mat but it's not quite to DH's taste Sad

Robynthebobbin · 19/02/2019 20:46

To be honest, I’m not really a fan. It’s all a bit impractical. Gold plated kitchen utensils? A bin which is full of holes? Bedding and textiles with Pom poms that would be a nightmare to wash?? I love ASOS clothes, they’ve definitely got the upper in that department, but when adding more products I think they need to really think about their consumer base. Very much uni students, early 20s young adults at the mo.

Sydney3 · 19/02/2019 20:48

I love ASOS clothing and order regularly as I’m busy , totally disorganised and often in need of fashion guidance and inspiration. As you can imagine being able to order items for my home I the same way is amazing for me.. think I’ll have a new addiction!

miranda1511 · 19/02/2019 21:31

Love the duvets and the rugs. We're all king and super king in our house though so would prefer to see a range of sizes.

ShowerOfShite · 19/02/2019 21:37

I love the minimal mirror and the animal/leaf bedding.

PassTheGinPlease · 19/02/2019 21:45

I like the bold use of patterns and clashing colours, wasn't aware ASOS did homewares.
I particularly liked the pom pom throw and cushion cover, as well as the scroll frame mirror.

wolfie1979 · 19/02/2019 21:46

I really like the pom pom bath mats & bamboo baskets. As if my ASOS shopping habit wasn't already out of control!!

Ratbagcatbag · 19/02/2019 21:57

Agree with everyone else that it's more homewears than furniture.

That said it's got some nice things in it. I particularly love the square simple mirror.

Dextrodependant · 19/02/2019 21:57

I like All of it except the eye stuff which just aren't too my taste. Otherwise I love the funky fresh feel of it all.

My favourite pieces are the pink pompom collection and the ombre woven basket which I think I am going to buy.

TheGirlWithGlassFeet · 19/02/2019 22:58

I'd worry about the environmental impact of this stuff. It's bad enough having fast fashion with items seen as being disposable after one season. I imagine the aim will be to encourage people to buy on trend cheap items and then replace them seasonally with the old stuff ending up in landfill after a year or two. Not good for anyone. Except shareholders of ASOS of course.

ClaraSais · 19/02/2019 23:10

I really like the Eye See You double duvet set :) it's all pretty funky though!

Tealfrog · 19/02/2019 23:15

Minimal bathroom mirror gets my vote - getting a hook screwed into the wall will be the challenge!. Looks fab though

RSenior · 19/02/2019 23:20

There's some cute bits. The eye stuff is a bit much for me though lol 😂 I really like the animal print towel and the knotted rug, definitely up my street 😍🙌

Pimmsypimms · 19/02/2019 23:33

Ooh, I do like the Macrame Tassel hanging plant pot! I love that 70's retro decor is making a comeback. Not all of it though, not sure I'll be buying an avocado bathroom suite any time soon Grin

Shargrave · 20/02/2019 03:46

That scroll mirror is divine

frazzledasarock · 20/02/2019 04:04

I like the Pom Pom bath mat. But I don’t think I’d pay £16 for a bath mat, we get ours from ikea/Wilkos/studio for a lot less as they take a lot of battering with three cats in the house (who’d spend their lives trying to run off with the pom-poms to play).

Most of the other things look absolutely mad, the eyes and hands design stuff and the crazy foliage prints are not my cup of tea, the latter are something my mum would have had back when I was growing up. In fact I think this duvet cover used to adorn my mums bed back when I was living at home several decades ago.

newlyfrugal · 20/02/2019 04:13

Gorgeous! And great prices! I really fancy the angular metal vase, the elephant hooks and the pastel runner! ❤️
