Crazy and/or deluded OPs we have loved

I thought it might be fun to start a reminiscences thread about the craziest or least self-aware OPs from past threads. My favourite one of all was the supersoaker mum who was absolutely ADAMANT that her darling offspring should be allowed to take his supersoaker to another child's party in the park, even though it was a bit chilly, the party mum hadn't been keen and about a billion posters united to tell her she was BU! (I think it's in classics if anyone fancies a laugh )

oh and the OP who 'has a love affair with Whitby' and got upset that her DH got her babysitter some Whitby jet jewellery because the OP's engagement ring was also Whitby jet

Ended up with loads of people just posting 'WHITBY JET' for some reason I couldn't fathom!

Does anyone remember a poster from a very long time ago who was asking if she would be allowed to bury her mother in her back garden? The OP was adamant that her mother not being dead, and the property being rented rather than her owning it, were not issues...
