Where the hell are DD's shoes!!!???

Please does anyone have any suggestions or helpful finding spells, I'l try anything!

They are new ankle boots for school. They were here on saturday, she was going to wear them to go out and I got her to change into snow boots. Since then they haven't been needed so should have been here this morning, in the hall with all the shoes. They have just totally vanished! Could not find them anywhere in the house. It's driving me mad!

She is very sensitive / fussy / being assessed for asd and it's a bugger to find shoes that are comfortable for her, and they weren't cheap :(
please hit me with your ideas.... TIA. 🥾

Where did she put her snow boots on?
I'd go there and check around the area even way up.
And then I'd think about where you and she went from there.

That's what's so weird. I saw her with school boots on in the hall, I said change into snow boots so school boots don't get ruined - and I saw her take them off in the hall (though I didn't pay attention to where she put them). She put the snow boots on in her room, with my help. It seems they obviously should be in the hall or in her room or somewhere in between - but they're not Confused

Could they be in a bathroom or toilet, my DD took her shoes off and put them behind the door once - took ages to find them! It was a one-off which made it even less obvious! Check behind doors! Hope they turn up soon.

We went out again on Sunday and she wore old crocs (not unusual for her). But this morning when we couldn't find the school boots, she said she'd looked for them to wear on Sunday as well (she loves them) but couldn't find them. So it does seem they could have gone awol on the Sat, at the time of changing them.

On a book case? That's where my DD hid hers and it took me hours to find them as they were so well camouflaged.

I don't think anyone else has them, we haven't had anyone round since Friday, and they wouldn't fit DS.

The only other thing that crossed my mind was one of the kids has deliberately hidden them, but it wouldn't be like them at all.

In any bags? What rooms lead off the hall? Can you sit where she took them off and look from that level?

We lost a pair of DD's shoes that had been bought for a wedding. My parents had picked her up from the reception and she'd stayed over. DM was adamant she'd packed them and wouldn't look in her house after extensive searches at ours. We found them weeks later in the inner lining of the little suitcase she used. It wasn't an inner pocket more I think to let you access the mechanism for the retractable handle. Anyway I put it down to DM's careful packing but eventually DD, who was 4 at the time admitted she didn't like them and had hidden them.
So any suitcases or gym bags your DD could have used, maybe she was planning ahead thinking if I have to wear snow boots to school I will at least take them to change into?

I've checked the recycling bin, and I'm going to check the kitchen bin when I empty it later.

Putting them in a bag is the kind of thing DD would do, but I've checked all the bags everywhere...
