What do you remember watching on a Sunday as a kid?

Daughter and I have had our bath and I just had a flash of memory back to the days of watching Bullseye, songs of praise and Howard's way on a Sunday nights.

I even went on YouTube to put a bit of Bully on.. what is it with 6yr olds that don't appreciate old TV?

That's her, holidayshopping! I remember thinking she was incredibly pretty. Also was the first time I heard an Essex accent.

Also Miss Marple

thatsmyspace · 04/02/2019 07:45

The darling buds of may too, or did that come on on a Saturday?

concernedforthefuture · 04/02/2019 07:48

In the morning (before church): Fraggle Rock. Evenings: antiques roadshow, songs of praise. Sometimes a BBC / ITV kids' serialised drama such as The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe or The Return of The Antelope. Supergran was a Sunday thing too I think.

Roystonv · 04/02/2019 07:48

Old glimmer, so the Golden Shot with Bob Monkhouse and Benny the bolt before I had to leave to get back to my weekly boarding school. I would be about 7.

twosoups1972 · 04/02/2019 07:51

Smurfs late morning ITV

I'd sometimes watch Eastenders omnibus Sunday lunchtime when it was only on twice a week!

A Fine Romance - ITV sitcom with Judi Dench

That's Life of course. And Spitting Image

twosoups1972 · 04/02/2019 07:52

Worzel Gummidge was Sat teatime. I remember hurrying my mum home from the shops to get home in time!
