Daughter and I have had our bath and I just had a flash of memory back to the days of watching Bullseye, songs of praise and Howard's way on a Sunday nights.

I even went on YouTube to put a bit of Bully on.. what is it with 6yr olds that don't appreciate old TV?

I remember watching dramas with my mum. Was Bluebell on Sunday nights? Also, does anyone remember a drama set during WW2 about the French resistance. Wish me Luck?

Pob on Sunday mornings

I loved that freaky looking bastard.
I used to sit in the bath and fill my mouth with water and spit it all over the wall to write my name in it.

Clive James?

Knitwit101 · 03/02/2019 18:54

I loved something called the house at Green Knowe, would that be right? A boy who goes to live with his granny and becomes friends with ghost children. There was a scary tree called Green Noah and lots of pet animals. Am I inventing this in my head?
I have a memory of watching it at my great aunts house on a Sunday and being so happy when it came on because visiting her was so dull.

The Lion, the witch & the wardrobe. 5 children & It. The Borrowers (maybe a learnt memory?)

5 children & It.

I loved this show, it makes me feel sadly nostalgic when I watch it on YouTube, especially the ending theme song... which I will now find and share..

I don’t think I watched it but I remember Heartbeat being on on a Sunday night. That back to school feeling comes back to me when I think of it (even though I was a teacher long after I was a pupil!).

starzig · 03/02/2019 19:05

When was metal Mickey on tv?

Harryo · 03/02/2019 19:08

Old black and white films, Songs of Praise and Antiques Roadshow.

SkinnywannabeKBH · 03/02/2019 19:10

Ski Sunday
Formula 1 racing. The cars just don't sound the same now so when OH is watching it now it's just not the same.

MarciaDidia · 03/02/2019 19:11

Nobody else for Robin Hood (Michael Praed/Jason Connery)? Have I misremembered- was it on a Saturday?
