okaythen2 I backpacked loads in my late teens, 20's and in my early 30's sold everything and backpacked for almost 3 years. Dedication to the cause!

It's not part of the UK, controls it's own immigration and isn't (unlike the UK - for now) part of the EU and is a self governing crown dependency. They have no MPs in the Houses of Parliament in London.
