I would want Jacob Rees Mog , best person at the moment imo

MayhemandMadness01 · 25/01/2019 21:02

Yvette Cooper or Keir Starmer

tenredthings · 25/01/2019 21:02

Caroline Lucas

SisterOfDonFrancisco · 25/01/2019 21:03

Labour. Anyone really, including corbyn.

If it has to be a tory then someone moderate, centrist. None of the front benchers that's for sure.

Patroclus · 25/01/2019 21:05

Rory Stewart is an absurd relic. I imagine he has to be advised to not wear a pith helmet and shout Kipling at the locals when he goes abroad on his action man displays.

But still JRM is even worse. Hes a complete act and he quotes latin all over despite being terrible at it and is a bit New Money. Its a big giveaway.

Wheeesht · 25/01/2019 21:08

I love that Mogg has been rumbled for being New Money. I bet it absolutely wounds him.

luckylavender · 25/01/2019 21:13

I voted for Yvette Cooper in the leadership election (polishes halo). Have since left the Labour Party because of Corbyn & Momentum.

Patroclus · 25/01/2019 21:13

I think it really would. Has he got twitter? I may wind him up. Start calling him Just Recently-Monied. Its his wife whos the kosher toff. The whole giving his son a wacky name was pure ITV2.

SingleDadReally · 25/01/2019 21:17

Me obviously-I’ve got all the solutions! My first act would be to close down all reality/celeb trash culture. I’d then immediately leave the EU and revoke the independence of the USA.

Chocolatedeficitdisorder · 25/01/2019 21:23

Gareth Southgate!
He seemed to bring the country together in the summer, everyone would get behind him 😂

I imagine, like last summer, that it would only be the English who would support him.

BHStowel · 25/01/2019 21:26

Labour- Yvette Cooper or Keir Starmer

I’m not a Vonservative voter so haven’t ever thought much about which of them I’d like to lead. John Major because at least he knows where the teabags are kept in No 10. NOT Boris or Rees-Mog.

Kezzie200 · 25/01/2019 21:31

I probably ought to say, I am a Conservative or Liberal voter (choosing between those on a local basis) but I would choose Yvette Cooper currently, so that shows what a huge influence she's having.

boatyardblues · 25/01/2019 21:32

First choice Yvette Cooper. Second choice Kier Starmer.

Lweji · 25/01/2019 21:33

How 'bout Nicola Sturgeon?

whiteworld · 25/01/2019 21:35

You are kidding about Rees-Mogg? He’s an antediluvian misogynistic Victorian privileged twat. No way.

Tf, I can’t think of anyone i’d Prefer. None of the Leave MPs, certainly. None of the rest have covered themselves with glory in the Brexit negotiations either. Useless bunch.

Urbanvoltaire · 25/01/2019 21:35

Tom Watson

Graphista · 25/01/2019 21:58

"He's like a throwback to the 80s." The 1880's!!

Mans a twat! Actually that's too good for him - he's an unredeemable callous hypocritical bastard! With absolutely no CLUE how the real world works AT ALL! Even thatcher would be better!

"England's infatuation with all that is posh is so destructive." Totally agree

"JRM is a despicable man who only "talks sense" if you hate the poor and women." And the sick, disabled, gay people...

"Ah John Smith. I don’t think we would be in the shit we are now if he lived to be PM" too true! There'd have been no new labour, no brexit...

"Barack Obama.
Professional, caring, intelligent, organised, respectful, responsible...
He'd sort out the mess that is Brexit." Yep! And/or Michelle too they'd bang a few heads together!

"Hugh Grant!" Do you actually mean the PM from love actually?

"Mhairi Black! I do realise she's SNP so nor currently possible, but she's about the only MP that I genuinely believe when she says she cares." I do absolutely love this girl! I know she's not perfect but she's passionate and socially conscious and as you say genuinely seems to give a shit! Plus she does some cracking speeches!

I'd love keir hardie back from the grave.

Failing that I'm struggling. I personally don't think Corbyn is as bad as painted but think due to those brush strokes he is unelectable now, so keir starmer or mhairi black

If it HAS to be a Tory another vote for Ruth Davidson though she's said she'd never do it for health reasons.

Op do you want to watch the world burn? Confused

Batman is the only one who could save us.

Racecardriver · 25/01/2019 22:13

@itsbritneybiatches ?

EmmaGrundyForPM · 25/01/2019 22:15

Yvette Cooper or Keir Starmer

ThereWillBeAdequateFood · 25/01/2019 22:16

Tories - Kenneth Clarke or maybe Jo Johnson (total wild card).

Labour - Yvette Cooper, Kier Starmer or David Lammy.

itsbritneybiatches · 25/01/2019 22:17

Remember a post once about one of your friends and it sounded like a good film. It stuck in my mind and I can't remember why now.

Made more sense than the current government

Gotstuckwiththisname · 25/01/2019 23:10

Bloody hell, nobody.

Maybe David Lammy. None of the Tories.

Workfear · 26/01/2019 00:04

A cat.

Any cat, not bothered which one.

It would be better than any politician.

FantailsFly · 26/01/2019 00:10

Keir Starmer or Caroline Lucas. Def not Yvette Cooper. Where has she been during last 2 years where we've had a disgracefully weak opposition? I reckon she's completely (and disappointingly) self-interested.

Ivegotthree · 26/01/2019 00:12

Jacob Rees Mogg
