House porn! Sort of...

Maybe it's reverse house porn. I can't decide whether my favourite thing is the fox humping the partridge or the Mona Lisa shower curtain watching you wash your bits...

Rightmove linky

What about you?

Haven't clicked the link yet (will be doing) love a bit of HP

Just to warn you @MadeleineMaxwell

One thread just like this vanished after the less than happy owner appeared Grin

I was on a thread were loads of us were taking the piss out of a cringe house. Someone sleuthed and it was owned by a (then) recently disgraced celeb

Quickly pulled.

Does anyone remember the seriously WTF? American house ? I think it was in Michigan it was truly the house that taste forgot

Well, I'm mainly of the opinion that once you've put it on the internet, it's in the public domain and open to criticism. Much like the Daily Heil can scoop anything we say on here, too. However, I would of course bow to MNHQ's wisdom on the matter Grin

Was the US house the one with all the dolls? Not just dolls, but D O L L S.

Well I clicked.

Glorious.

What a find!

Would love to know the owner. I bet they are as unique as the house and they appear to live on Krug.

BartonHollow · 23/01/2019 22:45

I remember something like the bathroom being covered in tarpaulin for no reason - like a murder house - and other oddities. I will see if I can find it

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 23/01/2019 22:45

I so admire people who do this, that would have taken them years to source all that objet d’art, no way has an interior designer done that, that is the owners passion and hobby reflected in their home, you certainly can tell they have not just nipped to Dunelm to decorate their house, it’s too much for me but there are many elements I really like, I think it’s fantastic, well done those owners I hope their next house is a stately home!

Dowser · 23/01/2019 22:46

Baroque...that’s the name for it...wow incredible

Thank you for showing it to us
It’s amaz

imarocketman50 · 23/01/2019 22:48

Well I use to sell those cookers and you can't get one for under £20k. That one was probably nearer £30k and I'd love one.

BartonHollow · 23/01/2019 22:49

It is this utter beauty @MadeleineMaxwell

Baroque...that’s the name for it..

I think it actually goes through several historical periods, from Tudor downstairs through rococo/Louis XV and baroque upstairs. Maybe that reflects Belvoir?

@BartonHollow that is AMAZING. It doesn't tug at my heart strings like this one, though. But who doesn't want a diner in their cellar?!

OMG!!!!!! I will have to look again tomorrow to take it all inHmm

HopeClearwater · 23/01/2019 23:00

Bullying behaviour like calling someone a bitch, you mean?

Great comeback

RavenLG · 23/01/2019 23:03

The armour creeps me out. I’d be convinced if would chase me around like in scooby doo!!

Jaimx86 · 23/01/2019 23:03

Found the owner’s Facebook including a pic of them in their house. I now want a new career as a private investigator! It’s made me realise how easily people can piece together your life on the internet though Shock

MorningsEleven · 23/01/2019 23:04

It's fantastic. I just can't help thinking that the washing machine fox must end up on the floor after every spin cycle. I'd get quite annoyed at having to keep picking up the fox.

MadeleineMaxwell · 23/01/2019 23:13

Wow, I'm impressed but also a bit creeped out! Confused Tell me they wear velvet and ruffs!

Great comeback

Unsure if sarcasm or not Blush

Madeline I’ve been off work sick with a virus for 4 days and am slowly starting to feel better so it’s the most engaging activity I’ve taken part in all day - I’m not usually a weirdo Grin

Jaimx86 · 23/01/2019 23:18

^and no velvet, just nice/glamorous clothing.

Ribbonsonabox · 23/01/2019 23:24

Looks like they got the changing rooms team in and gave them an ounce of coke and a million quid

mrsfollowill · 23/01/2019 23:40

What a bonkers place! Amazing and fabulous -makes you think though-surely some who had created such a 'unique' house would not be selling up unless they had to?

HildaZelda · 23/01/2019 23:45

I think I'd be exhausted living there to be honest.

MsJuniper · 24/01/2019 01:31

That is amazing. I can't bear the thought of someone else moving in and ripping it all out. Hope it finds an owner who loves Belvoir castle as much as the previous ones!

DeathyMcDeathStarFace · 24/01/2019 01:58

I thought it was a Fox humping a pheasant on the windowsill rather than a partridge, but I really want it to be a partridge just to work out what their offspring will be.

Will they be known as part-ox or fartridge?

I'm not a fan of the house, the interior would suit a manor house much better. If I were buying it I would have to get rid of most of it, so I guess it's good I can't afford it.

Applause to the owners who have put the time, effort and money into creating it though.

Screamqueenz · 24/01/2019 07:04

It's how Audrey Fforbes-Hamilton's lodge should have been styled when she moved from the Manor House in "to the Manor born".

Truckingonandon · 24/01/2019 07:24

Velo - you can 😜
