House porn! Sort of...

Maybe it's reverse house porn. I can't decide whether my favourite thing is the fox humping the partridge or the Mona Lisa shower curtain watching you wash your bits...

What about you?

@Redskyandrainbows67

Wow do you always mean to be such a bitch? That is someone’s house and someone’s pride. It might not be to your taste but no need for bullying behaviour.

Where was the OP ‘bullying’? Or a ‘bitch’ she’s simply canvassing opinions on a pretty unique house! You however are name calling and aggressively unpleasant in your post. Both unnecessary and bullying.

itsbritneybiatches · 23/01/2019 21:00

I hope they get over the going rate for it

megletthesecond · 23/01/2019 21:04

The exteriors lull you into a false sense of taste security.

MadeleineMaxwell · 23/01/2019 21:05

Do you think one of them's an artist and they've painted all the murals themselves?

Not sure, it says 'hand painted' and there's a lot of talk of 'bespoke'.

I would kill lightly slap someone for that gold & bird bedroom wallpaper/painting. But everything else would have to be very plain!

MadeleineMaxwell I'm not so sure poor Marie could swirl and clap her hands in delight. I imagine her reaction may be on a par with putting foil in a microwave!

JasperRising · 23/01/2019 21:10

Not sure about the kitchen diner and upstairs but I wish I had the guts to have that living room! I've always liked a good 16th/17th century manor house.

Lobatri · 23/01/2019 21:14

Truly amazing! Would love to see the people who live there.

megletthesecond · 23/01/2019 21:18

Why is the washing machine in a cupboard Confused?

Lilimoon · 23/01/2019 21:19

Peacock feathers in the house are bad luck. Fact.

MissB83 · 23/01/2019 21:28

Where do you even buy half of the stuff in that house?

asking for a friend...

picklemepopcorn · 23/01/2019 21:29

Very um exuberant. And remarkable how much they have fitted into that space. There was enough decor in their to ornament 10 similar houses.

picklemepopcorn · 23/01/2019 21:29

There.

ohdearmymistake · 23/01/2019 21:34

I think it's fabulous, would love to visit it.

Thishatisnotmine · 23/01/2019 21:35

Wowsers. I'd say that you can't buy taste but that has gone so far its actually amazing.

I think my favourite part is either the fox on the washing machine or thw teeny tiny extractor fan over the oven!

ChesterGreySideboard · 23/01/2019 21:35

I love it.
It’s not to my taste and not how I would decorate my house but I think they have done that with style.

CoolCarrie · 23/01/2019 21:36

I love the kitchen tiles, and the cuddly toys, but not keen on stuffed animals especially the peacocks, and the garden is awful. Would love to have a good look around it

slappinthebass · 23/01/2019 21:37

Oh wow. I started off thinking it was outlandishly amazing, and musing that if I left a pineapple on the coffee table it would look like I'd not finished putting my shopping seat, and then dead fox number 2 caught my eye, and then dead fox number 3 set me over the edge. Don't even get me started on the art. Some vile hunting obsessed upper class wannabe twats live there for sure.

ItsHardToExplain · 23/01/2019 21:40

I love all of it Blush I would love to live there. However cleaning it must take foorrrrreeeevvvveerrr

ICouldBeSomebodyYouKnow · 23/01/2019 21:42

I was prepared to hate it but it's so well done, I wish I had the guts to decorate so outlandishly! It's so OTT it's brilliant.

I now want a peacock or six

MadeleineMaxwell · 23/01/2019 21:43

It’s not to my taste and not how I would decorate my house but I think they have done that with style.

I think they've done it with money and interior designers Grin

OMG, do you think it's a Llewellyn-Bowen??

OP posts:
BruceAndNosh · 23/01/2019 21:46

I love it.
I couldn't live there cos I don't have the style to carry it off.

There's an awful lot going on but it all kind of works. It's not just random stuff all chucked in together.

waterandlemonjuice · 23/01/2019 21:46

Omgfg, vile!

costacoffeecup · 23/01/2019 21:48

I think it's fascinating!

Their shoes are just so ...ordinary, considering

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 23/01/2019 21:48

How wonderful to be able to say "dinner's nearly ready darling. Would you just pop the peacock on the floor and set the table?"

Zoflorabore · 23/01/2019 21:49

Another one wondering why they're leaving!

It's not my cup of tea at all but I can appreciate the effort, thought and love that has gone into that house.
My auntie lives in one similar and she absolutely loves getting new visitors as it's such a shock to see.
The owners have spent an absolute fortune on the fittings and fixtures and it must be hard to keep it clean.

The more I look at it the more fabulous i think it is and my house is very Mrs Hinch like for comparison ( 83 shades of grey ).
