Most random find in a new house?

So we picked up our keys for our new house today. The sellers have been so nice. The house is super clean and they've left thoughtful things like a hedge clipper and lawnmower. All good.

However... on the back of one of the bedroom doors there is a sheep's skull!!!! 😱

Utterly random! So what's the most random thing your found when you moved in to a new house?

Old house:

A tin ashtray which I keep paper clips, a very pretty glass ashtray that I keep my earrings in and two antique books that turned out to be quite valuable we discovered many years later.

New house was a new build so lots of dust.

We've been in our house for five years now, and have yet to make it to the attic! Previous owners took the ladder with them, our own ladder doesn't quite reach, and we've just not been that bothered, I guess. DH can just about poke his head through the latch and claims it seems empty. In these years I've secretly furnished it in my mind with all kinds of mysteries hidden in the corners - Victorian safes, old trunks, diaries, weird boxes with paper clippings all about a particular crime... By now I've convinced myself I'm better off not knowing, because I'll either be disappointed, or freaked out.

I can't get over someone leaving bowels behind in the kitchen. Did the previous owners disembowel themselves or something like that?

How often do you hear people say "I was literally gutted" and think "Hmm, you weren't though, were you?" ?

At least these people weren't exaggerating

when I moved into my house I found a pickled snake in a glass bottle

A huge and lovely Persian rug, some ceramic ducks on top of the kitchen units and a small ceramic fairy on the wall. Some Lidl shower gel and a bar of soap with a map of Jersey on it.

A set of false teeth in the cupboard under the sink!

Riding crop in the bedroom built-in wardrobe. Not random in itself, but the location makes me think it wasn't intended for the horses!

Someone else found empty crisp and sweet packets behind kitchen units.

A friend was sorting out her house and took off the angled panel that goes up the ceiling of the stairs. It was full of empty crisp packets and coke cans.
