The big question is, will labour all for a vote of no confidence in the government and try to trigger a general election

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 19:49

Ok he just has

ScreamingValenta · 15/01/2019 19:49

Corbyn was quick off the mark there!

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 19:50

The EU has said it will delay best until July to give us time to sort ourselves out

But we have to ask

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 19:50

Very quick

CormoranStrike · 15/01/2019 19:51

He had to be quick

LookImAHooman · 15/01/2019 19:52

Labour’s move isn’t a surprise, though. Exactly what they said they’d do.

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 19:53

It will be interesting to see the result of that vote. Thatcher won a vote of no confidence when She was in opposition by 1 vote

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 15/01/2019 19:53

I thought TM was almost begging JC to call the no conf vote.

I think she's done.

Bookridden · 15/01/2019 19:54

But can Corbyn win the vote tomorrow? DUP won't want a Labour government so will vote with the Tories, so they will win won't they? And then what?

bigchris · 15/01/2019 19:54

Is the no confidence vote tomorrow?

KittyLane1 · 15/01/2019 19:55

Corbyn is a snake

PinkGin24 · 15/01/2019 19:55

Fingers crossed for No Deal now...

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 19:55

Yes i can't see many/any conservative MP's voting against

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 15/01/2019 19:55

I can see some Tories voting against though if they see an opportunity.

bigchris · 15/01/2019 19:56

Voting against a no confidence vote ?

Joinourclub · 15/01/2019 19:58

I can’t see Corbyn winning

CormoranStrike · 15/01/2019 19:59

Please please please no confidence, no deal and remain.

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 15/01/2019 19:59

Smile no sorry - I meant voting for the NC motion. Against the gov

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 20:00

They can afford for 5 tories to vote against.
That's allowing for the fact that sinn féin have 7 seats and always abstain

VenusStarr · 15/01/2019 20:03

If TM has to resign tomorrow, how soon will there be a general election? Will we have no prime minister? I'm ashamed to say I don't know who the deputy PM is??

If TM wins tomorrow does that mean we're leaving with a no deal?

marvellousnightforamooncup · 15/01/2019 20:04

So Corbyn wants to trigger no confidence and a GE which I can't see him winning. More time wasting and bickering and uncertainty. I wish Kier Starmer was Labour leader going into a GE.

FrancesFryer · 15/01/2019 20:07

If May resigns it won't trigger a general election, just a leadership contest

BayandBlonde · 15/01/2019 20:10

@VenusStarr

We don't have a deputy, the last one was Nick Clegg.

I had to google it because I too didn't know who our deputy was.

We didn't know because there isn't one Smile

VenusStarr · 15/01/2019 20:13

Oh thank you @BayandBlonde :)
