Is the Duchess of Sussex expecting twins?

I've just seen pics of her at an engagement today and that is a seriously massive bump! But not due until end April/early May (she told people this herself today) which makes her not even 6 months but she literally looks like I did at about 8 months so I'm wondering if the 'twins' story published overseas might actually be accurate?

I doubt it’s a surrogate. If only because of the question if Would the baby be in line to the throne if it was a surrogate? I think the baby is incredibly active & this is her way of being protective.

Re a surrogate if the embryo was from the mother and father why would it affect succession.

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 15/01/2019 16:11

Isn’t the surrogate registered as the parent? No idea. I’m sure someone will be along soon. I don’t think it’s a surrogate unless legal advice has been sought. Didn’t Charles take legal advice before he married Camilla?

I wonder if there has ever been a woman in the history of humanity who has ever been pregnant and not received the comment "you're massive! Are you sure it's not twins in there?!"

SemperIdem · 15/01/2019 20:34

user

I think not! 😂

trustedhen · 15/01/2019 22:30

Wouldn’t surprise me if they all use surrogates. No weight gain anywhere but the belly, the high heels, Kate standing on the steps in heels hours after giving birth, the constant holding up of the bump, figure back to normal immediately. Hmm.

user1457017537 · 15/01/2019 22:36

I’m really not buying that they all sail through pregnancy, give birth to 8lb plus babies, get photographed with big bouncing baby a couple of weeks later and they haven’t changed a bit since pre-pregnancy. Not an ounce of weight gained or needing to be lost. It’s nothing short of miraculous!

Celebelly · 15/01/2019 22:39

I'm sure Kate's hyperemesis and having to tell press before they were ready was just another part of the ruse...

These are privileged women with access to the best nutritionists, stylists, and medical care money can buy. It's hardly surprising that they look good through pregnancy and recover well after. And that they can look good when out and about a few weeks later when they have childcare and round-the-clock support.

GunpowderGelatine · 15/01/2019 22:39

I thought this too OP how lovely if she did have twins! She huge, but she is quite tiny. Mind you I just had 1 baby in there when I was pregnant with DS and was enormous, to the point where a (non obs/gynae) doctor at work told me "I'm concerned for how big you are for six months, are you sure you're due imminently?" Fuck you doctor dickhead

appless · 15/01/2019 22:40

It's because lizard people, being reptilian, struggle to replicate the pregnant mammalian form when shape-shifting into humans. So sometimes the size or positioning of the bump is wrong.

The lizard people theory also explains the absence of any weight gain.

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 15/01/2019 22:48

Sophie didn’t exactly sail through pregnancy nor did Kate.

trustedhen · 15/01/2019 22:55

Could be part of the deception.

Flambola · 15/01/2019 23:36

'Moonbump' Hmm ... give your head a wobble

MissQuad · 16/01/2019 02:49

Yambabe What is wrong with you? A fake pregnancy!!!!! I knew there was bound to be one arsehole, perhaps an adopted child of the Daily Mail. Shock

SophiaLovesSummer · 16/01/2019 03:01

OMFG Shock

I am literally the LAST person to don a tinfoil hat and I've pissed myself at every conspiracy theory ever going BUT I clicked on the link Notmyrealname85 posted upthread and you can clearly see the bump right up with her boobs Confused as she arrived and then the bump (quite literally) hanging off her lower abdomen by the time she left (complete with some kind of thing or hard fabric sticking out from underneath her dress by her THIGHS??!)

I honestly feel like I've stumbled into a parallel universe here Grin

Truly, I'm trying to dismiss it but you genuinely can see a massive drop down (like 10 inches lower!) as the day went on and worse, these are Getty press images so not some conspiracy nutjob photoshopping in his bedsit.... Seriously, just look at the pics, beyond odd.

Fuccckkkkkkkk, I feel like I've moved to the dark side Grin

I have just looked at the link Notmyrealname posted and it took me to a page of about five practically identical pictures in each of which her bump looked exactly the same. Was there a different link to that you were looking at, Sophia?

HoraceCope · 16/01/2019 07:00

that link is the same picture

BalloonSlayer · 16/01/2019 07:03

Thanks Horace. How odd - I certainly can't see a massive drop down or the bump (quite literally) hanging off her lower abdomen by the time she left and as for some kind of thing or hard fabric sticking out from underneath her dress by her THIGHS??! that looks like a crease in the material to me.

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 16/01/2019 07:29

You can see why politicians used to attend royal births if these are the sort of batshit theories out there!

MidniteScribbler · 16/01/2019 08:12

Me! I never got a bump at all, didn't look pregnant, and was skinnier when I walked out of hospital than I had been before I got pregnant.

appless · 16/01/2019 09:18

Really??? The pictures all look almost exactly the same. The bump position looks no different. Look at the distance between the hand on her belly and the lapel of her coat. Almost the exact same distance in every picture.

Think you need to step away from the Meghan pictures for a while, OP.

trustedhen · 16/01/2019 09:24

It’s hard to get your head round, but when you do you see it clearly. Same with Kate.

appless · 16/01/2019 09:26

See what clearly?

fartfacemcfartfaceface · 16/01/2019 09:27

Nah. The official statement said 'a baby'.

trustedhen · 16/01/2019 09:28

I wasn’t referring to those pics, (though somethings odd about them) i meant the whole pregnancy thing, same with Kate.
