My wife is dying

My beautiful, wonderful wife is only 33 and I'm sitting next to her bed in the hospice tonight watching her die. She's had cancer for a long time and I knew this was coming, but it's so very hard to watch.

Im not always great with words but this has touched me so deeply I feel i need to reply. I really hope this doesn't come across wrong because i whole heartily mean it in the nicest possible way....
Me and my partner have been going through a rough patch but tonight i will hug them that bit tighter and think of you.
Your words are brave and beautiful, your wife must adore you as much as you do her.

Thank you all for being here and for your kind words - your replies helped me to get through a long night. Her breathing is getting more laboured and she looks so very poorly. She has had a few lucid moments of wakefulness this morning but finds it hard to speak. I told her that our baby had toast for his breakfast and she smiled. The doctor said the end is very near, but he can't predict exactly when.

Sorry, I should have said that I'm also a woman so I'm her DW.

Oh love, I'm so incredibly sorry. You both sound as though you were made for each other - your love for one another is shining so clearly from your posts.

Sending you strength, you both will be in my thoughts today, and I hope her passing will be calm and comfortable.

It's very hard for you but for her she is having a beautiful ending with the person she loves and hearing about her baby. She will leave surrounded by love.
