I just looked at Mrs Hinch's toilet roll stamp

What a load of fucking shit.

I'd seen it mentioned on here a couple of times and so I just googled it. Why the fuck would anyone want a drip stain on their toilet roll. As if someone thinks "Oh this is a new roll, great". It's just fucking toilet roll!

This thread was actually a pretty fun thread with posters trying the stamping and posting photos until Glitter came along and derailed it to how nasty people we are. I think the first post said how we were attacking her looks but actually there was one post like that and it was deleted. Pathetic and boring but there's always one.

This thread has gone batshit. It’s reminding me of another frothy group on here but I can’t think which one.

Back to mrs h, I looked at one of her ‘stories’ and now I’m even more nonplussed. Her house must stink. All that fabric conditioner! I can’t stand that cloying, artificial pong.

I can’t imagine how she has so many followers; it’s intriguing. She lives in a very small house with no character or interior design to covet, so it can’t be aspirational. It must just be all the spraying and wiping 🤔😮 that appeals to a shit load of women. Depressing really.

RedForShort · 15/01/2019 18:58

I thought most of the followers weren't real people. They are bought in bulk (like bottles of zoflora - the crack cocaine of the cleaning world).

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 18:58

Poor dog too, their sense of smell is much greater than ours. Death by bleaching.

Oh thats true, red. They could be fake profiles. Let's hope so!

Completely off topic now (soz) but every time I read Ova's name my head starts singing the Wombles theme song.
So cheers for that earworm lol Angry Grin

I used Zoflora once a couple of years ago after seeing it being raved about on here. It gave me such a banging headache I had to open all the windows and wash everything again to get the smell out. I was still getting whiffs of it weeks later.

EdWinchester · 15/01/2019 19:02

I forgot you can buy ‘followers’.

Please let that be it!

Celebelly · 15/01/2019 19:02

I don't even know what Zoflora is. Am I a slattern?

GlitterStick · 15/01/2019 19:03

It's actually easy to spot someone who has fake followers.
The amount of likes and comments is disproportionate to the amount of followers it has.
Or comments will be one or two word answers such as "great feed!" etc.
I don't get that feeling from Mrs Hinch's account. It seems organic with real comments and people following (bots are fairly easy to spot too)
Not to mention the hundreds of real people in the FB group commenting.

RedForShort · 15/01/2019 19:05

@Celebelly yes. Obviously.

artisanscotcheggs · 15/01/2019 19:13

As someone else said, the idea came from pixiedustcleaninguk, not hinch. It's just hinch has a larger platform, and her cult thinks she invented everything.

If I recall correctly, pixie used to work in hotels, and so she picked it up from working in them. Pro cleaners and hotel staff use the loo roll stamps and special towel folding to give their work a finishing touch. That's all.

artisanscotcheggs · 15/01/2019 19:19

Full disclosure: i used to like hinch, until she shat all over some of the people who worked to get her where she is now, and also because things became increasingly about making money and less about helping people.

Her following however is mostly genuine. I think there has been a small amount of follower purchase, BUT most of it is genuine.

You can do an instagram audit for anyone here:

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 19:22

Oh that's interesting, thanks!

What did she do to shit on people?

OP posts:
Lexilooo · 15/01/2019 19:24

Is it for people too lazy or incompetent to fold the loo roll into a point?

artisanscotcheggs · 15/01/2019 19:31

I'm not going to go into detail because one of the people she shit on is a mate, and I'm not going to air dirty laundry for lack of a better phrase.

However she likes to claim ideas as her own when they're not. I don't follow her and haven't for a while, but when I saw the thread about the pixie stamp, I wanted to say that it wasn't hinch's idea. My fave Instagram housekeeping accounts are folks like littlemissmops, dazlincleaning, sisterpledgecleans (she is fucking HILARIOUS) and thesecretcleaner. They're all genuine great people.

olafolaf · 15/01/2019 19:38

I've just read the whole thread (why?)

I don't understand what's going on

I've just eaten two slices of date and walnut loaf to recover

RedForShort · 15/01/2019 19:56

Sounds tastey @olafolaf

Did you butter them? I know folks who butter cake slices that contain fruit. Not too sure if it's the done thing

RedForShort · 15/01/2019 19:58

Tastey is a generous variation of tasty. I'm letting you have an extra e for free. You're welcome.

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 15/01/2019 20:12

That second thread. Hmm Grin

Notmorewashing · 15/01/2019 20:17

There will be a huge new build move shortly due to her cashing in on the cleaning ads. I’m going to keep following to see how she cleans all day with a toddler ? Nanny

flugelhorn811 · 15/01/2019 20:20

I'd not really followed her much but just had a look at her videos - she's doing something with wax melts (what?) and using five cotton wool pads to clean out each of her wax melt burners (there are several). What an awful amount of waste. Apparently she does this every two to three days.

olafolaf · 15/01/2019 20:21

Butter on my date and walnut loaf? Why did I not think it that!

Pinkyponkcustard · 15/01/2019 20:30

Yes I hate the wax melt thing - no need for the cotton wool pads, if you heat it for like 30 seconds it slides out.
