I'd seen it mentioned on here a couple of times and so I just googled it. Why the fuck would anyone want a drip stain on their toilet roll. As if someone thinks "Oh this is a new roll, great". It's just fucking toilet roll!

I remember an Alan Bennett story where he talked about staying in hotels and how they fold the end of their loo roll into a point. He said if he’d ever stayed in a hotel as a child and seen that he would have assumed the loo roll point was the proper way to do things, and would have consequently been embarrassed about his non folded loo roll at home. The joke being of course no one would do that at home, but now apparently they do!

That is possibly the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. I thought you meant a stamp like with a pad of ink to put her name or logo on them ... which would at least make some sense

I dont get why hotels do it actually. I mean, we all know if a loo roll has been taken from. Why disguise it?!

But youd have to keep popping to the loo every time someone goes or it wont be 'nice' for the next person

Honestly...its not safe to go into the toilet after some of my family members!!

Is it just for new rolls or every time? I'm 36 weeks pregnant – I can't be stamping loo rolls every time I go for a piss. I'd never leave the bathroom.

I can only imagine the point is for cleaning under your nails when your finger pokes through bit more of an insight into Mrs Hinchs bathroom struggles than i needed but it passes a Saturday evening
