I am also hoping to get to the south of France for a few days but nothing booked yet

retainertrainer · 04/01/2019 14:26

Yorkshire dales in the summer, camping in Pembroke in May and Forest of Dean in October.

Dothehappydance · 04/01/2019 14:27

Turkey (Olu Deniz) in July. I am also looking at going away with DD (13) during the Easter school holidays. I would like Greek islands; but not sure how warm they will be in mid April.

Defender90 · 04/01/2019 14:45

Blairgowrie for 4 days in March and USA for 3 weeks in September for a fly drive holiday.

needsleepzzz · 04/01/2019 14:47

Mexico for 2 weeks/Italy 1 week/Tenerife 1 week

amusedbush · 04/01/2019 14:48

Turkey (Antalya) in late April/early May for ten nights. I haven't been on a beach holiday since 2011 and DH and I have never been on one together - we always do city breaks. I'm really looking forward to lounging around by the pool.

I have a couple of short breaks to London booked to see a show, etc and we will maybe do a few days in Paris in October.

Holymolymackerel · 04/01/2019 14:52

Disneyland Paris for 5 nights in May.

And a couple of long weekend camping trips probably one on east coast and another in peak district.

LePetitPont · 04/01/2019 14:53

Skiing in morzine in March; long weekends at Sherwood Forest Center Parcs in June and November and a week of eurocamping in Brittany at the end of August. Probably a few weekends camping will get added in too.

southnownorth · 04/01/2019 14:54

Hopefully Portaventura in May, should be about £1500 for four of us.

Have flights booked to Nashville in August for two weeks for a road trip, they were £250 each.

Babdoc · 04/01/2019 14:55

Baltic cruise to St Petersburg. Not sure if it’s my cup of tea - have never cruised before and prefer to be land based with several days to explore each city properly, plus have already visited some of the stops such as Tallinn and Copenhagen.
I’m going with DD, her friend and the friend’s mum, so at least the company will be nice! They assure me that cruises are not just full of boring old farts these days. I’ll reserve judgement- I prob qualify as a b.o.f. myself, actually...!

MakeLemonade · 04/01/2019 14:57

Family place in France for Easter and Halkidiki in Greece at the beginning of June. Need to plan summer holiday though so also watching for inspiration!

YahBasic · 04/01/2019 15:29

South Africa for two weeks in June and Australia for 3-4 weeks in Dec/Jan.

Also thinking of doing a couple of long weekends here or there, thinking Bilbao, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Galway.

Australia for two weeks in February, Kuala Lumpur for a week in March, japan and South Korea for two weeks in the summer, probably Vietnam for a week in October and Vietnam again in December.
I live in China so most of these trios are short haul. I book months in advance and have got some good deals on flights and am happy to stay in Ibis or similar or self catering.

AragonsGirl · 04/01/2019 16:02

Skye in July, and planning a week in the Scottish Borders in April

DonaldDucksTowel · 04/01/2019 16:02

Sarahlou63 · 04/01/2019 16:03

Hopefully Antigua for 10 days late November - went last year and loved it. We live in Portugal so will have the odd weekend 'staycation' at the coast during the year.

bigbluebus · 04/01/2019 16:04

Touring the West coast of Scotland in a motorhome in June for 2 weeks. Basic cost for hire of said motorhome £800.

LadyWithLapdog · 04/01/2019 16:05

Ireland but no firm plans yet.

tierraJ · 04/01/2019 16:06

I may have to go away alone, if that happens I will go to Lanzarote as I can fly from the local airport. I will stay in an apartment around the matagorda / nr Puerto del carmen area as I like the beaches.
Or may go to Ibiza Santa Eulalia.
