Cornwall for a week (hotels) and Devon for a week (shepherds hut type affair) in the summer. Not going abroad this year as we want to see how Brexit goes.

Will do some weekends too. We want to do York, Harry Potter world and London at some point.

Might book somewhere in Europe for a long weekend in October half term. Maybe Paris so we can do Disney for a day.

Caribbean cruise- February
London- May
Cornwall- June
Festivals- July/August
Pembrokeshire- September-not booked yet
Our holiday cottage- at least one weekend every month.

Cost £5k+ (we use bonuses and a bit of Christmas money) no more school holiday prices.

We're going to Iran at Easter. Fingers crossed there's no political issues before then. Looking at February half term places this weekend. We like to leave it late!

sansou · 04/01/2019 20:26

Feb HT - Skiing
Easter - 1 wk Spain (Bought cheap flights totally forgetting about Brexit Day - holding off booking accommodation since we may end up writing off the cost of the flights and stay at home).
July - 1 wk Corsica. Bargain flights (£300) and SC 2 bed apartment in Calvi for £1000 for family of 4. The same accommodation with a well known tour operator comes to over double that so well chuffed with my saving. Brexit woes should pan out by then hopefully.
Aug BH weekend - maybe Scotland

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 04/01/2019 21:20

borneo - trekking in rain forest to see orangutans and night safaris looking for clouded leopard

Hoping to go to Lake District in May. And the coast somewhere in the summer. Both will be self-catering.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 05/01/2019 07:32

We're cycling from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi in Vietnam. I'm looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time!

Kidssendingmenuts · 05/01/2019 07:35

Malaga end of April which for me and two kids is costing a shocking £1800 but I've been paying it off each month for the past year!
Then skipsea at the end of August for a week in a static for £400 x
