I’m just being nosey and trying to get some inspiration! Where are you going and how much is it costing? TIA

We are going to Holland in April and possibly Majorca in July.

Penninepain · 04/01/2019 17:52

We are away in the MH all over the UK this year, also have a holiday booked in South africa in September.
DH, all terribly proud of himself, booked a holiday (first time in his life - it always falls to me), as a suprise for New Year.
I am horrified to say that we are going to Sunny Beach in June. Any survival tips folks? I dont dare whinge to him, or he'll never try again 😁

Penninepain · 04/01/2019 17:53

Sorry, horrified mainly because... well put ut this way, we have been married for 40 years and i think Sunny Beach is an 18-30 type place?

DappledThings · 04/01/2019 18:12

Thinking about Slovenia

amusedbush · 04/01/2019 18:23

Penninepain

I went to a resort close to Sunny Beach about 14 years ago and it was an absolute hole. It looked like it had been bombed, we were pawed at by groups of begging children whenever we went anywhere and I was constantly leered at by men (I was a teenager). The morning after we got there my mum cried at the breakfast table and tried to find flights home.

I hope it has improved since then! Blush

Not sure yet - need to get some things booked. We'll probably go somewhere in Italy in the summer and somewhere in Germany at Easter (or also in the summer). And maybe a city break or two, possibly Edinburgh or Dublin, plus maybe Prague and/or Krakow.

somewhereovertherain · 04/01/2019 19:01

Portugal in January for a week
3 nights in Edinburgh end of January
15-16 nights in Canada in the Summer and then Ghana for Christmas.

GreyGardens88 · 04/01/2019 19:04

Going to Vienna and Prague next week. Not sure about the summer yet, DP wants to go to Cuba or South America but I would prefer (and my bank account would prefer) somewhere in the Mediterranean !

AnnaMariaDreams · 04/01/2019 19:06

Not booked anything yet because want to see how Brexit pans out and we went away in the recent October half term.

Assuming all reasonably okay re brexit I plan to book Crete as we loved it last year

MawkishTwaddle · 04/01/2019 19:12

Mexico for eleven days in February. Excited, and also furiously dieting.
