Tell me I’m not the only one... who’s been out for a run?!

Just got back. I didn’t pass a soul despite running through one of the most beautiful parks in England. The sun was coming up, it wasn’t raining, fairly mild.

Utterly exquisite. I could not believe I was alone. A wonderful way to start 2019!

Tell me, anyone else out this morning??

I'm just boob feeding the 18 month old and hoping she will snuggle back down with DP and then I'll be heading out with the dog for 6 or 7 miles.
No better way way to start the day 

been out 6.30 this morning, it was still dark though saw 2 other people I knew. Last year went for a walk and watch the sunrise in a country park with my eldest DC who hadn't been to bed. everyone is still sound asleep here this year though.

I am leaving now!

I left 6.50. It was dark by the end was lighter. The sky colour was beautiful

DH was planning on going to park run today, but it sounds like his nasty cough isn't better enough.

Going to park run in a few minutes. Looking forward to it too.

I’m meant to be going out, but the stupid cold I have had now for over a week is getting worse. Gutted too as I’d wanted to make a positive start to 2019!!

I'm a Parkrun volunteer this morning but I'll be out for my own run afterwards

Was waiting until it got a bit brighter then felt ravenous, had porridge. I’ll wait 30 mins or so.

They’re expecting it to be one of the busiest of the year as it’s a later start.

Off to Park Run with a heavy head and tummy.

But agreed to meet running mate there. I will be trotting.
On a positive note my times for 5k in 2019 will only get better.

Also doing Parkrun. Doesn't start until 10.30 which is a bonus.

Yes just leaving for park run. Will try and do a double if we can get parked anywhere close to the second event by 11.00. Happy running everyone

I'm waiting for dh to get up, so I can sneak out. It won't be pretty, as I've been up a lot of the night with ds, but will try and summon some energy.

Will be going in half an hour. Bit rough round here so hoping more people will be around at 9!

Is there always a NYD parkrun?! Never heard of our local doing anything other than Saturdays.

After breakfast I'm putting my walking boots on for a long walk down the coast to the next town. Sun is shining and it's quite mild here.
