Tell me I’m not the only one... who’s been out for a run?!

Just got back. I didn’t pass a soul despite running through one of the most beautiful parks in England. The sun was coming up, it wasn’t raining, fairly mild.

Utterly exquisite. I could not believe I was alone. A wonderful way to start 2019!

Tell me, anyone else out this morning??

Yay - I made it out with the family.
More a walk with my sore knee but little bursts of running.
It is quite addictive isn't it?

I dragged the clan out for a sea side walk with the promise of a naice lunch. By the time we'd finished eating it was a miserable, drizzly day so we shortened our walk considerably. This dose has me wiped out though so I'm not sure I'll make the plod I was planning this evening. Well done everyone who made such a good start to the new year!

Almost 800 people at my park run this morning.

Another one who did a lovely 4.5 miles this morning. Beautiful day and everyone along the canal seemed more cheerful today!

I've been for two short runs today with DS, totalling 4.5 miles. He was fed up and bouncing off the walls after the first one so we went back out after lunch. Will go out again Thursday after work.

I actually spread my arms wide and yelled “happy new year” mid run! 7am, only just getting light and so peaceful. Heaven.

I’ll be out for a short one tomorrow. I’d go every day if that wasn’t counter productive

I ran 10k this morning!
Have a place on the Winter Run 10k and gave been knocked out with a bad cold last few weeks.

Put on weight over past 6 weeks and I'm so slow now, but! ...
Just did the distance so I am feeling much happier

I did the double parkrun today

Me! First run in months, I've been going to the gym instead but it felt great! Only did about 3.5K but I threw in some triceps dips and push ups as I passed park benches. Definitely going to head out again tomorrow!

I took DS for his first ever parkrun this morning! I knew that it would be more of a walk than a run so did 5 miles beforehand with a friend! Best way to start the new year.

I did 3.5 miles this evening and it felt bloody brilliant! Tried out my new bone conductor headphones and loved being able to hear my feet plodding along. I do enjoy a run in the dark as well.

I'm trying to do a running streak, been out every day since Christmas Eve, even 4K counts 😃 trying to hit three months

5K for me this morning. Was ace.
