Tell me I’m not the only one... who’s been out for a run?!

Just got back. I didn’t pass a soul despite running through one of the most beautiful parks in England. The sun was coming up, it wasn’t raining, fairly mild.

Utterly exquisite. I could not believe I was alone. A wonderful way to start 2019!

Tell me, anyone else out this morning??

Not yet but I will be shortly, just jogging by myself. Sun is out for what feels like the first time in weeks.

Just finishing my coffee and then I'm off to do 6-8km. Sun is just coming out here.

I went out with my husband & children & did the second day of c25k this morning :)

Did 5km. I am recovering from a cold though

I am going for a 7 mile brisk walk.

Park run completed in my slowest ever time. Don't think beer and running mixes very well!

New PB on Park Run. Was absolutely determined to do this for the New Year and did it by 2 whole minutes. Now regretting this as feel will have to keep this up and it nearly killed me. Wish I had just beaten by time by 10 seconds now!!

I wish I had! Tomorrow I definitely will, I really need to get back into it!

I did parkrun pushing ds in his running chair. We finished in position 450 with many more behind so you certainly weren’t the only one out!

Done a double park run this morning and got a pb at the first one, now crashed on the sofa not wanting to move.

I went out today for the first time since September. Only a little one but it's given me back the bug. Perfect weather and got to catch up with a friend while plodding away.

DH went out this morning. I also saw a fair few people out when I popped to the post box. ‘New Year, New Me’ and all that.

I went for a run this morning. The sun was out and the scenery was beautiful. A great start to the day.

5 mile walk, cant run any more, arthritis in foot.

I went out for 5km! Hardly saw anyone but I can see from Strava that my neighbour went out this morning (she’s about 40% faster than me so there’s no hope of running together).

Last year I was aiming to run 500km, but injury after injury, Young children, and a stressful job change meant I did just over 200km. Not much has changed so I am aiming to beat 200km this year!

9am Parkrun for me with another 400+ folk. Didn't find it easy and have done something daft to my knee but still only 37s off PB so it was close! Lots were going on to a second one, though I'd have had to have hobbled walked it. Happy New Year all!

Double parkrun here too. Both were absolutely heaving and saw loads of people doing both events. Great way to start the New Year even if I did come home and eat a stupid amount of cheese which undid all the exercise!

Smallest DD has friends round until 3, but once they are gone I will be heading out for 10k. First marathon in April so I can't afford to be lazy anymore!

I don't run, but there were loads of runners and cyclists this morning as I headed out for my swim. Just about got my fingers back now, 6.8C is a bit bitey-cold but worth it, I am absolutely glowing now.
