I am !

I have bought a shiny new notebook.
I have been searching pintrest for bullet journal ideas.
This includes couch to 5k (for the 3rd time)

I really need to sort my health and fatness (not a typo) out .

So if you need a partner in crime to give you a nudge or a kick then please come and join me.

More importantly if you are one of the few miracles out there that day feeling like this last year and actually succeeded please come and tell me your tales.

All welcome.

My health goals are:
Restart/complete c25k
Walk/run/cycle (basically shift my arse) 1000miles
Eat properly rather than snacking when i cba to cook. Hoping some batch cooking will help with this

TabithaBraithwaite · 29/12/2018 21:23

I can't believe you just called me out like that Blush how rude.

Butteredghost · 29/12/2018 21:28

Oh my gosh yes me! I've been thinking about how I must go on a diet for weeks, last night I couldn't sleep so I got up and ate half a packet of chocolate biscuits. I need help.

Littlepig8834 · 29/12/2018 21:28

I'm in. Currently eating white choc buttons and drinking cider!
I'm doing Veganuary again and I've signed up for RED January, I started the C25k at the end of this year and enjoyed going out so looking forward to doing that again.

Butteredghost · 29/12/2018 21:29

Same WhatTheFuckRichard, OP do you have a camera in my house?!

wishingitwasfriday · 29/12/2018 21:29

No, not me. I may have Prosecco and m&m's!! Wednesday 2nd is the start of my healthy eating plan. It worked last year until June, when three major (awful) events hit my family and all exercise/healthy eating went out the window. I plan for next year to not let anything overcome the great feeling I had when eating well.
In the meantime I have three more days of Christmas to get through!!

Notsurehowifeel0 · 29/12/2018 21:33

Me!

I told my dh this is the year I will get fit, healthy and have toned Abbs....while eating a Chinese takeaway Grin isn't it a shame that just thinking ourselves fit isn't enough.
Have signed up for a half marathon this year. No idea what I was thinkingConfused I haven't run in over 2 years since having my youngest dc and currently struggle carrying shopping in from the car Blush

fannyanddick · 29/12/2018 21:34

Yes that's me!

muddledmidget · 29/12/2018 21:36

My goals for the week are

3 trips to the gym
Eating my 5 a day every day
No chips crisps cake or chocolate
Drink 2 litres of water every day

These might be the same every week!!

FiveShelties · 29/12/2018 21:39

We had friends round last night, ate and drank far too much. Then ---- as I was clearing up and washing the glasses, I poured another glass of wine and ate some chocolate. All the time I was thinking about healthy eating and drinking in 2019. I think I may be a lost cause.

Happy 2019 everyone.

Baileys and chocolates here!

Andromeida59 · 29/12/2018 21:39

Not actually indulged this Christmas (either over or just plain old indulged) due to having lurgy. Have hardly eaten for a week.
I desperately want to have a baby so need to get healthy in preparation and fully recover from my accident.
I love going to the gym, BA (before accident) I lost weight just by exercising 3-4 times a week. For me, there's nothing better than being at the gym at 6.30am when it opens. I am slowly allowed to go back and can't wait till I'm better to go more often. I have about 5 stone to lose and I think I'd have done really well had it not been for the accident.

MergeDragons · 29/12/2018 21:41

This is so me both ways ! I lost three stone Jan-March this year. Since then I think I've probably put about a stone of that back on (currently too scared to look). I know I can do it so come the 6th of January (when I get back from my parents) it will be healthy eating all the way and no Swiss Rolls or Pizza Huts!

I actually have to walk past a gym to get home so I will be signing up at going at least three times a week. Last year I found upping my exercise really helped shift weight. Eating will of course be healthy and mostly based on soup and anything else I can batch cook and freeze in single portions (I live alone).

abbsisspartacus · 29/12/2018 21:43

I'm eating Mary berry banana and chocolate chip cake tbf I have lowered the sugar content in it I just need to lower the fat to make it reasonable

PodgeBod · 29/12/2018 21:43

I'm already wondering if Dry January counts if you take just one night off for your birthday Blush

flippyflapper · 29/12/2018 21:43

I can't start any kind of exercise until I see my cardiology consultant in the middle of January
I need a plan and stick to it , slimming world works for weigh loss but I personally don't think it's very healthy. I need to think of my heart and what is healthy but also loose a few pounds. I'm too dam young to of had a heart attack it's ridiculous, I eat healthy, always on the go ,not obese.

Anyone got any plans to help me please share.

MrsFL · 29/12/2018 21:43

I did couch to 5k about 4 years ago & went from couch potato to running a sub 2 hour half marathon in about 9 months, so it can be done! I’m still running but my liver is groaning under its layer of alcohol & my weight is creeping up so I’m hoovering up all the crap in the house & preparing for a lean & dry January 😄

MillieMoodle · 29/12/2018 21:43

Me! Drinking wine and eating chocolate orange at the moment. I've bought a notebook to start my bullet journal and some pretty coloured pens today too!

I need to lose about 3 stone but would be happy if I could lose 2 by next December. DS2 is 2 now and I've not lost the baby weight at all but haven't really made any attempt to.

Health goals are to lose 2 stone, eat more healthily, drink more water, exercise at least twice a week (can't afford gym so 30 day shred will have to do), get out for walks etc. Also look after myself a bit more - do hair, nails etc.

PodgeBod · 29/12/2018 21:43

This time next year I'll be name changing to SkinnyBod, I can just feel it Grin

Cat0115 · 29/12/2018 21:45

I have bought Women's Health to read while polishing off home made choc mousse... I have 6 stone to lose and need to get back to my quite fit thank you early 40s shape. A stone or 2 before March birthday would be great!

SickRose · 29/12/2018 21:46

I hate how accurate this is. Except I've got Doritos instead! 1st Jan I'll be on it!

For all of three days no doubt.
