if you're happily married, did you 'Know' from the first date?

I'm 32 and finding dating really hard. I've met some lovely men and maybe given it three months but nothing's ever stuck.

Am I better being totally ruthless and saying one date only? It sounds stupid but fuck me, these holidays have been hard. I'm the only single one out of all my friends, and they'll are getting engaged and married and pregnant.

I've been where you are op and it's so confusing isn't it? I had lived through my parents shitty relationship and was scared of ending up in a similar situation. I kept meeting men who were 'nearly but not quite' and was worried I was being too fussy.

Then one day I met my dh and I was hit by a feeling I'd never had before. I was so bowled over that I didn't even manage to ask his name.

We have been together for 17 years, married for 12 and have been so happy together. He is kind, clever and funny. He is my favourite person to spend time with.

Keep looking op and yes, if you don't feel it's 'quite right' after the first few dates, walk away.
