Going through my bathroom toiletries section. Found a pregnancy test, I'm ruthless and just wanted rid of the thing so I can bin it. Due on today, took it literally just to use it up.

Looks like a faint line!

Oh i just realised I can zoom in. Yeh there is a pink line. But i agree it seems too far to the left.

Yes I see a line but I too say it looks too far to the left and doesn’t look like it’s where it’s supposed to be. Also with you being due on today, I would also expect it to be darker

How many lines should there be...I can see a red one on the right....should there be more?

@Whisky2014, there are people who are saying they can't see it even zoomed in though, hence trying to be helpful!

I didn't have to zoom in, but I've had my own super-squinters in the past so have well-trained eyes!

You must've had an inkling there was a very slight chance of pregnancy OP.

Literally no-one pisses on a pregnancy test 'just to use it up', especially when it doesn't go out of date until 2022.

Congratulations but I wish you'd be a bit more honest because there'll be others reading this, who have never missed a pill or been in and it'll be worrying the life out of them I expect.

I can see a faint line too OP. I agree that it looks a bit far to the left though. Can you pop to a supermarket and get another test today?

That is 100% just the indent line. I got that every single time I did a FRER and was never actually pregnant. It’s a flaw in the design.

17 years of fertility treatment tells me that this is a very clear line on the first few pictures uploded by OP however I actually can’t see it on the one you have circled

There is actually a website where you upload the photo and change the colours to b&w and it’s much more defined either way. I’m sorry I don’t know the name of it. Worth googling?

Triple figure pregnancy tester and there's no line. Purely off those tests, you're not pregnant.

The incredibly faint line on the left that people are seeing, (when they turn their backlight right up and zoom in), is always there on a used test. It's not the line that appears on a positive test.

And I agree with pp about getting the thread moved to the pregnancy section.

also agree that people don't randomly use up in date tests, on Boxing Day of all days.

I've got a shit load of tests from my last pregnancy and never, ever has it occurred to me to use them "just because"

The very faint line is too far to the left. I don’t understand using it I order to throw it out - why not just chuck it unused?
