Best gift- suitcase I’ve been lusting after for ages but couldn’t justify spending that much.

Worst/ strangest- a stollen

Best gift is a onesie. It’s so cosy!

Worst gift was a shoe made out of pink chocolate.

Any fucking thing from my mil-sorry to go there soooo early in the thread.

Just dire every year. We actually asked for NO presents this year but oh no more plastic tat that I can't bear to actually throw in the bin- I guess the pta will be happy with the donations.

And before any one says don't be so ungrateful we have asked her to donate to charity instead. Sadly that doesn't seem to have happen

Well I've only received one pair of £1 magic gloves from my seven year old (school Christmas shop) so with that being the entire haul I guess it's my best and worst gift

Best and worst was today actually...best is a beautiful art deco diamond ring from DH and the worst is a tube of toothpaste! Not even posh toothpaste either, just plain old Aquafresh, my teeth are fine by the way I've just got a mad Aunt..

I got a spanner roll, complete with spanner's, from my Dad today.

In fairness, I did ask for it.

Worst a hot chocolate mug gift set, not completely awful but my Aunt has a new care team and I quite miss the terrys chocolate orange that we always got given in previous years.

Worst - rancid cinnamon candle. I can’t stand cinnamon. Can’t help thinking it might be a passive aggressive “fuck you” from work secret Santa, but don’t really give a shit as I don’t have to go back to work until 7th Jan.

I’m really quite jealous @teddy1970 I decided this week I would like to build my jewellery collection and I adore Art Deco. Maybe a little late in the day to have added to my list!

We’re way behind you time wise so not had our gifts yet, but we only have one or two each and they are very likely to be what I would choose myself.

I got Dh when we were in the shop together so I know he will like his.

Best: I only asked for one thing - my perfume. Got it.

Worst: nothing bad, but not seeing ILs until tomorrow. Their gifts are usually pretty horrendous.

My worst is a planter basket-y thing with droopy sad looking plants in it from my absolutely mega rich boss. I've never ever expressed any interest in anything like this. It's absolutely a last second regift. It's a total insult and shows a complete lack of any thought. Nothing would have been better.

I'm not sure which to nominate. I've really enjoyed bath goods, so maybe those are best? I got some books, which look great, but I haven't read yet. Also got a power bank, which is definitely the most useful.

The only "weird" gift I got is a professional blackhead extractor tool set! I don't even get blackheads, really. DH has just caught me watching sporner videos a lot, I guess...

Edinburgh rhubarb -gave 1 bottle away and binned one yesterday so of course I need more
Orla kiely utensil jar- because kitchen crap is a suitable gift-never

Best: the dog bought me a very nice ring
