Best and Worst/ strangest gift

Best gift- suitcase I’ve been lusting after for ages but couldn’t justify spending that much.

Worst/ strangest- a stollen

Worst was bought by me for my dses stockings; pooing Donald Trump keyrings😂 They are ridiculous and pointless but i liked them and needed some random crap for their stockings.

Best: a really beautiful pair of gloves.

Worse (feels wrong to say that) but a silver (antique) tray for serving cavier. A lovely present but honestly not something I will use.

Best gift - Tough! I got a Barbour coat, Free People Boots, skincare from Glamglow and The Ordinary. Spoilt rotten.

Worst - Mil got me the same smellies third year running. They're Champneys but I can't stand the smell.

We got a wooden sign thing, to remember people's birthdays, it comes complete with wee wooden tags which you attach to it under the appropriate month. Odd

Best: lovely boots from my DH and amazon vouchers.

Worst: kitchen roll, also from my DH, for the car.

Tea towels 🤦‍♀️ DH got a spirit level from the same person, just so gender typical! Best, gin making kit.

My best gift is the Lego Yellow Camper Van.
My least favourite is a M+S voucher. It's a bit meh as it will get spent on something practical and boring because that's all M+S sells really!

Worst, take your pick from duetingbgloves, a cheap manicure case, a thing to remove bobbles from clothes or an unholy shopping bag all from dm 🙄. For some reason every single year she buys me an electronic facial hair remover. I do have quite dark hair but I deal with it in my own way and keep on top of it really well.

Best was a body shop gift and hotel stay from DH.

iTunes voucher when hard of hearing

MIL bought me and DH a shared present with the message “enjoy!” on the gift tag. Eight frickin chocolates to SHARE!! Yeah love I’ll enjoy those 2 minutes of chocolatey pleasure

I took a picture of it because it was hilarious 😂 off my in laws (mil would've chosen it though) if I didn't know her I would be very offended 😂

No gifts whatsoever

WOrriedMum I'm rubbish at uploading photos, but it's square shaped with a diamond in the centre and smaller diamonds on the outside, I love it and can't stop looking at it, DH did well! I've got quite big fingers and most rings look lost but this one suits the size of my sausages!

All of mine sucked which has set the theme for a shit day:
A chocolate orange and orange match makers. Supposedly from the dcs but they were too lazy to go with their useless bastard dad yesterday. In 20 years I have never ever eaten or expressed a liking for chocolate orange. In fact I hate the stuff.
He bought from him a perfume set-D&G light blue. I cannot stand the smell of it. It's cheap smelling. And it comes with body lotions which I cannot and have never been able to use due to my skin being horrendously sensitive. He should really know this considering when his sister gave me something cheap and similar from next I said thanks and then said to him I'd give it to DD. He even said at the time she knew I had bad eczema. Now he buys some.
Well, if nothing else it's made me realise I have wasted 20 years of my life on a self absorbed halfwit who couldnt give a stuff for me.
I'm telling him we are done tomorrow morning.

Best was a catch kidston bag from dh and a jewellery making course from the dc.
Worst is a pair of flannel pj bottoms from MIL 2 sizes too small. She’s never been great at presents so I don’t take it Personally.

Only received four gifts and all have been fab
Air fryer from DH (asked for)
Perfume from Dd1 and Dd2 (my fave)
A digital radio from DS
A silver photo frame with a picture of her in from my baby niece

Going to the in-laws tomorrow so probs have something to add to the worst pile then lol

Best was a box of Elemis goodies.

Worst were a Christmas jumper and dress for DD and DS that are going to be too small by next Christmas. It's such a waste. Will make sure I pass them on though.

I did very well today so bests were hermes perfume, silver jewellery shaped like shells (I love the beach ad beachcombing), theatre tickets for Les Mis, a lovely book with very personal inscription from mum..

Worst..erm, not mad on the earrings from dh but they were kindly meant and not awful, just not really my style. I am very, very fortunate I know.

Best: dyson airwrap and some perfume

Worst ..the ones I gave my DP I tried to be thoughtful but I was way more spoilt then him and now I feel bad
