She comes across as so articulate and polished. The belly cupping was a bit OTT, but the dress and her hair were fab. Feel for her, she has been getting such bad press recently.

I didn't see anything other than pics but I thought she looked amazing.

The whole outfit so simple but wow. Amazing.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 11/12/2018 18:55

I can't see past the belly cradling.
It drives me and for some reason.
We get it love, your upduffed.

I feel exactly the same. I'm sure we'll be hung out to dry for feeling this way, but I hear you!

MsJolly · 11/12/2018 19:01

Abso-bloody-lutely! The belly cupping from when she didn’t even have a bump drives me mad. She is not the first woman to have a baby and the incessant drawing attention to the fact that she is pregnant is weird really.
She looks great and fair play to her. I have nothing in the game but she needs to stop as she just looks ridiculous imo

BackforGood · 11/12/2018 19:02

linky ?

derxa · 11/12/2018 19:04

MM threads are always deleted

Lottapianos · 11/12/2018 19:06

I read some stupid bitching today about her nails. Apparently she had dark red nails last night, but Royal women are supposed to wear nude nail colours because the Queen thinks coloured nails are vulgar. As if the Queen gives a shit about anyone's nails! Who writes this shite?!

OllyBJolly · 11/12/2018 19:06

Isn't a subconscious thing? Bit like using your bump as a shelf and then shocked it's not there anymore once the baby's out?

I think she is gorgeous,

Orchidflower1 · 11/12/2018 19:07

The cradling the bump thing drives me crackers! Fair enough give it a rub and a stroke etc but to clutch it constantly arghh!

Sparklingbrook · 11/12/2018 19:08

I think she looked lovely. She can cradle her bump all she likes, it's her bump.

TeddyIsaHe · 11/12/2018 19:08

Fucking HELL. You’re all such nasty people. A woman who is excited about becoming a mother and the only thing you can think of to say is that she cups her belly too much? There’s something wrong with you all to think like that.

lovely36 · 11/12/2018 19:10

You all sound like bitter women. Nothing wrong with a woman caressing her stomach. When I was pregnant naturally had my hands on my stomach all the time. Anyone who's got an issue with that seems quite strange I don't get it.

CircleofWillis · 11/12/2018 19:11

I came here thinking ‘how refreshing! A positive MM thread for once”. That didn’t even last through the first post.

madmum5811 · 11/12/2018 19:16

Loved the dress and the shoes.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 11/12/2018 19:16

She looked absolutely beautiful and actually has someone interesting and intelligent to say

I think most women feel they are the only pregnant women in the history of mankind and bore everyone to tears with their first pregnancy

She is obviously very happy even with all the nasty stories in the press

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 11/12/2018 19:17

Has something...

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 11/12/2018 19:17

Grin bitter of course.

ForalltheSaints · 11/12/2018 19:18

The Duchess of Sussex is an inspiration to many, and most of all, I hope she has a happy and healthy baby next year.

Heyjudas · 11/12/2018 19:20

She probably wasn't cupping her bump all night long. It was probably one photo catching a moment which was sold around the world.

Me on the other hand, how the hell did she go from zero to massive bump in weeks? How far gone is she? I don't think my bump was that big when I was 6 months?

LordPickle · 11/12/2018 19:26

I'm American and I really don't understand the obsession with MM. She's beautiful and leads a charmed and privileged life. Of course she looks stunning in public, would we settle for less? Hmm

TwitToWoo · 11/12/2018 19:27

I have never, ever seen any woman stand holding their belly in that way, unless they were posing for a photograph.

She wasn’t stroking it, she was posing. Making the event all about her, as usual. She was standing like that even when whatserface was giving her acceptance speech.

I can’t abide her or her hypocritical husband.

And has feminism had so little impact in this country that women are ordering each other to fawn over someone whose only actual achievement is getting married to a famous man? She shows up at a fashion awards night bleating about “female empowerment” knowing full well she wouldn’t be there at all were it not for a man.

She’s ridiculous...and so are all the tediously predictable “You’re so bitter/jealous” crew.

TwitToWoo · 11/12/2018 19:28

The Duchess of Sussex is an inspiration to many

To do what? Marry well?

Feminism is an illusion, it truly is,

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 11/12/2018 19:29

I think she looks lovely, but I swear she's been bump hugging since implantation.
Drives me potty, but hey ho!

WhoGivesADamnForAFlakeyBandit · 11/12/2018 19:35

They probably took 100x photos but the only ones in the DM are the ones of her touching her bump - which I guess is the money shot. I can't get worked up about it meself.
