I reckon I'm going to stop overthinking but it might never happen!

Have more sex.

sallysummer · 08/12/2018 21:16

I'm leaving teaching and it can't come soon enough.

JayKayCeeDee · 08/12/2018 21:22

I sometimes think I'm a bit passive aggressive too and id like to change that Blush

Going back to tee totality!! And hopefully losing another 2.5 stone. Have lost some weight but need to shift more!!

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 08/12/2018 21:24

Practice better self-discipline.

I run my own business and self discipline is something I am looking forward to improving on as it will reflect better upon my personal life and business.

TheMagician · 08/12/2018 21:25

Buy fewer clothes. I will never be able to afford my extension if I don't save a bit more and clothes are what I over spend on. Nobody else really notices.

TheMagician · 08/12/2018 21:26

@jaykaydeecee, you need to activate your inner warrior as a suppressed warrior can lead to passive aggression. I used to be guilty of this as well. Read Carol S Pearson ''The Hero Within''. It's marvellous.

Chocolatebourbons · 08/12/2018 21:27

Get more exercise. Go back to low carbing to lose weight. Save money. Enjoy every moment.

Obamallama · 08/12/2018 21:27

Live in the moment more and count my blessings more

Be a better ancestor: use less plastic, turn the lights off, fly less, eat less meat.

CatsGoPurrrr · 08/12/2018 21:44

Do one thing new every month
Live in the moment and savour it
Stop worrying so much
Reduce plastic use
Recycle more

iaintgettingonnoplane · 08/12/2018 22:05

Try really hard to drink 3 litres of water a day. I can go days without drinking a sip of water but will drink Diet Coke and coffee until the cows come home, my skin is terrible

MrsPerfect12 · 08/12/2018 22:09

Socialise more

MalcolmsBrokenWalrusMoneybox · 08/12/2018 22:19

Stop being nasty to myself

Gingerninj · 08/12/2018 22:23

I'd like to exercise more often, get out more, eat healthier and become more organise. It's unlikely that's actually going to happen but I'll try

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/12/2018 22:24

Far fewer takeaway curries - too much plastic.

Make sure I have something nice planned for every weekend - it's too easy to just fall into a rut and do the same things.

Buy and actually use a diary, instead of buying and ignoring a diary.

SlowNorris · 08/12/2018 22:24

I plan to stop wishing my life away. It seems I’m always hurrying through days to get to an event, such as a break or annual leave.

JayKayCeeDee · 08/12/2018 22:28

I'm the same slownorris always waiting for something to happen

Make some serious money again and get out of debt. It's been a fucking hard shitty couple of years financially for DH and I.

BrokeLuce · 08/12/2018 22:36

I'm going to apply for decent jobs. I've been a dogsbody for far too long.

I'm going to have speech/elocution lessons. The way I speak has upset me for years and I'm over feeling bad about wanting to fix it.

I'm going to commit to having my hair done every two months.

Continue to reduce my plastic usage. We use reusable nappies and bamboo tooth brushes but we buy too many takeaways.

I would also like to improve my baking so I'll maybe give baking once a month a go.

fizzylaura · 08/12/2018 22:40
  1. FINALLY get out of debt for the first time since my first credit card aged 19 (now 31).
  1. Decide whether my relationship is a good relationship just in need of some work or whether it's shit and needs leaving.
  1. Exercise CONSISTENTLY and get back in a size 10.
msnowtybach · 08/12/2018 22:41

The usual - less drink, eat clean, get exercise blah, blah, blah.

On top of that I am going to "mindfully" try to be serene. To be patient and calm, to be able to "sleep on it". I am also going to put some of my emotional junk into a box and store it for a bit. Maybe review it again after I have achieved the serene thing. In short, I'm going to try to be a little less bonkers.

SisterOfDonFrancisco · 08/12/2018 22:43

i'm going to start being more decisive. Make two or three risky moves. Start taking my career development more seriously.

SisterOfDonFrancisco · 08/12/2018 22:43

Make a will.

MrsDeanWinchester75 · 08/12/2018 22:45

Not eat ridiculous amounts of junk food, I've lost 3 stone and will have lost another 1.5 by the end of January to get to goal.
I'm so much happier and refuse to have another fat summer.

Mulberry72 · 08/12/2018 23:10

Have sex more often.
Start working my way through the ever increasing number of books and podcasts I download.
Cook from scratch at least three times a week.
