Can't find my way out, the only stairs I can see go to a car park

@Santaispolishinghissleigh I lost a car at the Metro centre once. Was convinced it had been stolen. Called the police. They turn up and I’m giving details and I realise The car we are standing by has a coat in which looks identical to my coat. Yep I’ve got a courtesy car as mine is in the garage 😂😂. Thankfully Mr Policeman saw the funny side and announced “you are dippier than my wife and I didn’t think that was possible “😂😂

Has anyone noticed the current trend in M&S & JL particularly, to not place signs pointing to the tills?

I really struggled to find somewhere to pay in the big M&S just outside Torquay recently.

Travelators are fun the first few times you use them. Never been in a waitrose.... ever, I think. None round here. But all the TESCOs have them! They switched the voice off once the local populace had figured out how to use them.

We have a brand new huge Next at Merry Hill in the West Midlands, Looking, complete with a big Costa!

Southampton General Hospital has possibly the most confusing layout of anywhere I've ever been. Nearly walked into the mortuary when I was trying to find the phlebotomy/blood test area.

As a student I went for open day at Uni in my car. I parked in multistory car park. Went around X department and then got a meal, looked at accommodation and then went back to find car. I saw multistory and knew i had parked on second floor. I went to second floor and my car was not there. It was a bright yellow Metro so hard to miss. I went up and down every floor getting more worried and concluded it must have been stolen. I found security guard who thought police should be called. I was too afraid to phone my Dad as he had wanted to come with me but I had refused as wanted to be independent. After waiting for police for about 10 -15 mins he suddenly asked me are you sure you left it in this multistory? I thought there was only one but it turned out there were two. He took me along to show me where other one was, and you guessed it, the police arrived just as I found my car, just where i had left it on second floor. There were only three cars left on same floor. Very embarrassing and I was surprised I was made an offer by the Uni. I just don't have much spatial awareness.

I feel so left out we don’t have a Waitrose in NI

Still remember when Bluewater shopping centre first opened in Kent, my friend and I went there and got lost in M&S 😂
Security guard said he's spent most of his shift directing people to the main shopping centre.
I know my way now but it took us nearly 20 minutes of being stuck that first time before we got out lol

Take a photo with cellphone of parking spot. Maybe a few; like breadcrumbs.

A few years ago, a colleague and I popped into Beatties department store in Wolverhampton just before Christmas - within minutes we were hopelessly lost, and we wandered round, getting more and more worried, asking directions from people (and always being told to go through the sodding Christmas decorations department - which we criss-crossed in a frantic manner) and never being able to find a way out... She started to hyperventilate and I was trying to calm her down.
Finally - quite by accident - we stumbled across the floor selling pianos, where there was an exit into the multistorey carpark. Then all we had to do was find the way out of there...!!

I got lost looking for the loos in M & S in Birmingham whilst heavily pg with DS1.

I couldn’t find my friends or the loos, I was wandering around getting quite panicky until I spotted the gents loos. By that point I was quite desperate so headed in. An older man in there had quite a shock seeing me, wild eyed and desperate. It was relief to finally use the loo and was able to gather myself together enough to relocate my friends.

I still get the shivers thinking about it.
