I'm a musician. I loved it. Please buy instruments for Christmas (and lessons!)

You're welcome to my 6 year old with her recorder. Please send her back when she's mastered something other than the note B.

Reverse.. happily would (if you pay me). 1 6 year old with a recorder pfff that's nothing. I'm used to dealing with 90 of them for an hour and a half.

No. Very dissappointing this year. I dont really think Elton John is exactly how I want my children to turn out. I wpuld like them to be happy in their lives. And to maybe speak to me still! Mybkids all play musical instruments so Im all for encouraging music but the ad did nothing for me. Not even remotely Christmassy either.
Love the sainsburys one though!

I've just watched. Pile of non-Christmassy shite.

I found it very moving.
Elton John's music was meaningful to me in my late teens and early 20's. (In the late 80s and early 90s).

I loved his jowly face and bowed head. And the age in his hands. His hands on the keyboard look like my dad's. Big and strong and full of life and well used. I was moved to tears by that and by his solemn expression.

Lovely.
