Mine has to eggs. I have to have rich delicious golden yolk eggs. I don't care how much they cost.

Does it have to be just one?

For me it would be Eggs, bread, butter and coffee.

It’s a Mumsnet cliche but it has to be naice ham. I can’t bear wet plasticky ham.

Wine. I’d rather drink water than shit wine.

My biggest food indulgence is bastides mini saucisson. My DH asked why I didn’t just buy pepperami 🙄

Can only get them from Waitrose - god I sound like a right tosser, but they are the best thing on earth.

Weirdly, I much prefer supermarket own brand crisps to walkers etc.

And beans - own brand are awful.

Meat. I can never ever buy cheap meat.

I go veggie if out and about and I don’t trust the meat to be good enough.

Bizarrely, I adore cheap crisps (you know, frazzles and cheese puffs and space raiders and the like that you get from newsagents) give me them over Kettle chips any day.

Wine for sure.

Even my friends dh goes and buys me a decent bottle of wine, and her the rubbish stuff

Lurpak, decent cheddar, good tea, sausages and Port.

Tea - never buy bags only loose (preferably whole) leaf.

Tea Bags, I like good strong tea & resent using 2 bags.

Not overly fussed about anything else.

Kerrygold butter, guatemalan elephant coffee, wine, steak, chicken. Otherwise I'd rather go without.

Coleslaw. Only the "finest" range stuff is any good, the cheap stuff is rank. I'll buy the basic/value range of everything else!

Steak always has to come from the butcher.

Coffee I never scrimp on.

Ketchup has to be Heinz.

Jam. Life is too short to buy cheap jam, it has to be Bonne Maman.

Coffee. I can’t drink bad coffee.

Milk - has to be organic. I worry about the hormones otherwise.
