Mine has to eggs. I have to have rich delicious golden yolk eggs. I don't care how much they cost.

Does it have to be just one?

For me it would be Eggs, bread, butter and coffee.

JuneFromBethesda · 07/11/2018 13:34

It’s a Mumsnet cliche but it has to be naice ham. I can’t bear wet plasticky ham.

Taffeta · 07/11/2018 13:35

Wine. I’d rather drink water than shit wine.

LockedOutOfMN · 07/11/2018 13:35

Agree with eggs

SinkGirl · 07/11/2018 13:36

My biggest food indulgence is bastides mini saucisson. My DH asked why I didn’t just buy pepperami 🙄

Can only get them from Waitrose - god I sound like a right tosser, but they are the best thing on earth.

Weirdly, I much prefer supermarket own brand crisps to walkers etc.

And beans - own brand are awful.

MouseRatFan · 07/11/2018 13:36

Eggs and butter.

ihopeyouwitchesareready · 07/11/2018 13:36

got to be proper lurpak butter for me.

AltogetherAndrews · 07/11/2018 13:38

Butter, ketchup, baked beans, tinned tomatoes

starrynight19 · 07/11/2018 13:40

Beans butter and wine

ReturnofPrincessOzma · 07/11/2018 13:40

Meat. I can never ever buy cheap meat.

I go veggie if out and about and I don’t trust the meat to be good enough.

Bizarrely, I adore cheap crisps (you know, frazzles and cheese puffs and space raiders and the like that you get from newsagents) give me them over Kettle chips any day.

Longdistance · 07/11/2018 13:41

Wine for sure.

Even my friends dh goes and buys me a decent bottle of wine, and her the rubbish stuff Blush

scaryteacher · 07/11/2018 13:42

Lurpak, decent cheddar, good tea, sausages and Port.

Heismyopendoor · 07/11/2018 13:44

Eggs, have to be organic ones
Ham
Cheese
Butter

Sitranced · 07/11/2018 13:44

Tea - never buy bags only loose (preferably whole) leaf.

Peachydream · 07/11/2018 13:44

Tea Bags, I like good strong tea & resent using 2 bags.

Not overly fussed about anything else.

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 07/11/2018 13:47

Kerrygold butter, guatemalan elephant coffee, wine, steak, chicken. Otherwise I'd rather go without.

TheBrilloPad · 07/11/2018 13:48

Coleslaw. Only the "finest" range stuff is any good, the cheap stuff is rank. I'll buy the basic/value range of everything else!

Idontbelieveinthemoon · 07/11/2018 13:49

Steak always has to come from the butcher.

Coffee I never scrimp on.

Ketchup has to be Heinz.

HRTpatch · 07/11/2018 13:49

Eggs...Burford Browns

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 07/11/2018 13:51

P.S: Yes to Burford Browns!

SheSnapsThenSheFarts · 07/11/2018 13:54

Jam. Life is too short to buy cheap jam, it has to be Bonne Maman.

Wolfiefan · 07/11/2018 13:54

Coffee. I can’t drink bad coffee.

Knittedfairies · 07/11/2018 13:55

Decent bread.

JanetLovesJason · 07/11/2018 13:55

Organic meat

surroundsound · 07/11/2018 13:57

Milk - has to be organic. I worry about the hormones otherwise.
