Mine has to eggs. I have to have rich delicious golden yolk eggs. I don't care how much they cost.

Yorkshire Tea and Coca-Cola. Not Pepsi. Not cheap crap. Full fat, red label coke 😁

I am a recent, but passionate, convert to expensive butter. The butter that comes from the Channel Islands or France.

I used to wonder who bought butter for £2.50. Know I know: people who have their priorities in life absolutely correct.

Fleabag123 · 08/11/2018 00:20

Definitely butter. I love Kerrygold block stuff.
I used to be mad on fancy pasta but actually not convinced it makes much difference for the dried stuff. It is totally worth paying extra for decent fresh pasta though, especially filled.

For Lurpak fans - the Lidl version is actually really nice and tastes the same to me (awaits flaming)
I’m talking about the spreadable stuff though, not blocks

I scrimp on nothing when it comes to food and drink.
I’m possibly orthorexic (obsessed with healthy eating), and so everything that I consume is top quality. Mainly organic.

It’s not a boast. It’s tiresome and expensive.

Coffee, wine, meat, and eggs, which must come from the honesty box at the farm gate. And bread, butter and cheese. Fruit and veg: seasonal preferred.
