DP says he is not fussed and I'm off to asda to get our bird for a roast for tomorrow so I'm leaving it up to the MN jury Smile.

What's your favourite? Beef? Pork? Chicken? Gammon? Grin

Beef then, which means Yorkshire puddings are compulsory Wink

Lamb

TwllBach · 03/11/2018 15:58

Lamb! Always lamb

SputnikBear · 03/11/2018 15:58

I like pork for the cracklings!

iklboo · 03/11/2018 15:58

Rare roast beef

Heuschrecke · 03/11/2018 16:04

Chicken first, beef second and lamb third. We have Yorkshires with all!

AngeloMysterioso · 03/11/2018 16:05

Lamb. No contest.

concretesieve · 03/11/2018 16:08

Now it's getting nippier, pork with lots of crackling and apple sauce.

Rockbird · 03/11/2018 16:10

Lamb. Nothing else like it.

GinIsIn · 03/11/2018 16:15

Gammon.

exLtEveDallas · 03/11/2018 16:16

I love Lamb, but it's just so bloody expensive now Sad

Pork in this house, with shed loads of crackling and brambly apple sauce.

Peachydream · 03/11/2018 16:17

You have to ask?- Beef every time.....yorkies, horseradish, gravy!! Heaven.

ileclerc · 03/11/2018 16:21

Beef or pork belly.

NotMyCircusMonkeys · 03/11/2018 16:21

Definitely gammon.

longtompot · 03/11/2018 16:22

Rare roast beef with Yorkshire puddings, horseraddish sauce and lashing of good gravy.
Or roast lamb studded with garlic and fresh rosemary with all the roast potatoes, honey roasted parsnips and carrots and mint jelly.
Or slow roast pork shoulder, crackling and homemade apple sauce.
Lastly, roast chicken as we have chicken lots and its not as special. A roast needs to be special for all the effort ;)

HalfBloodPrincess · 03/11/2018 16:23

Pork. Preferably pork belly. With roast potatoes, savoy cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, stuffing balls, Yorkshire puds and gravy.

That’s our tomorrows dinner and I want it now 😫

QueenOfMyWorld · 03/11/2018 16:23

Beef joint done in the slow cooker

Heismyopendoor · 03/11/2018 16:23

Gammon. We have Yorkshire’s with every kind of roast in this house! :)

TeddyIsaHe · 03/11/2018 16:24

Medium rare beef with way too many yorkshires and proper gravy. And loads of roasties.

Or really slow roast pork shoulder and all that crackling! Oh yum I wasn’t going to have a roast tomorrow but think I’ve changed my mind!

Babybearsporij · 03/11/2018 16:25

Lamb. With plenty of mint sauce! No yorkshires though.

Heuschrecke · 03/11/2018 16:31

My late mother was somewhat horrified when I served up Yorkshires with our Christmas turkey one year. Didn't stop her eating them though! And she subsequently acknowledged that she was quite happy to have Yorkshires with any 'roast' that I made!

Gramgram · 03/11/2018 16:32

Lamb with mint jelly, roast veg and yes Yorkshire puddings and loads of gravy.

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 03/11/2018 16:52

Omg I love them all, genuinely can’t pick a favourite. But I know which I’m in the mood for at any one time though (for example if the mood says lamb then chicken just isn’t right and vice versa).

Tonight we’re having a peppered/herbed roast pork with a potato/carrot/swede mash and whatever else we can find in the way of greens to go with it. Soooooo looking forward to it!
