What's your toastie filling?

I've been craving cheese toasties for ages so I got a toastie maker from Asda, now I'm thinking of all the possibilities to put in!

What's yours? 

Cheese & ham
Or
Nutella & strawberries - or banana is nice, but strawberries nicer

I prefer doing my toastie in a dry frying pan with the outsides of the bread buttered. Much much nicer and none of that horrible flat hard bread!

That said. I like

Jarlsberg Cheese with ham and Dijon mustard. Yum!!

Cheese and baked beans

Tuna melt aka tuna and cheese
Cheese and onion
Ham and cheese

My fave is cheddar, spring onion and Worcestershire sauce.
There was a great thread on here once about all the stuff you can make in a toastie maker - brownies, omelettes, all sorts.

Cheese +mushrooms
Reminds me when me and bff were both single dm's and we took turns making lunch! Both skint but loved our toasties!!

Cheese and onion or cheese and marmite.

In our house chicken, cheese and green pesto is favourite with kids.

Haggis and cheese... sweet chilli sauce to dip

Curry or chilli con carne

Cheese and pineapple

Banana (but that burns the tongue like lava!)

Goats cheese, roasted red peppers and pesto
Left over fajita mix and cheese, dipped in sour cream and salsa

Plain cheese is amazing
Also like cheese and marmite, cheese and pesto and cheese and ham. Sometimes have a fried egg on top.

Can't stand a toastie machine. Those rock hard crusts.... My DH loves them though, I prefer my bread buttered both sides on a George Foreman.

I'm guilty of trying to squeeze to much in but my face is mature cheddar, onion and a chilli chutney.

Jam with homemade chocolate bread 😁

Tuna mayo with spring onions, but no cheese. Bit of sweetcorn optional.

Must be cheapish wholemeal bread.

Chicken mozerella and pesto

Cheese and hot lime pickle is my favourite

Chicken mayo with red onion, sweetcorn and mozzarella. I then blob on some sweet chilli sauce.

Ham, cheese and ketchup

Ketchup needs to be in the toastie, not on the plate!
