What's your toastie filling?

I've been craving cheese toasties for ages so I got a toastie maker from Asda, now I'm thinking of all the possibilities to put in!

What's yours? 

Cheddar and caramelised onion relish
Goats cheese, apricot jam and thyme
Camembert and cranberry
Stilton and pear
It’s all about the cheese !

This is proper trashy food but every now and again I will make one with that plastic slice cheese and brown sauce 

Mozerella, basil and tomato
Or... cheese and peanut butter. Sounds gross but the suggestion came with the toasty maker and was lovely!

Brie and cranberry around Christmas!

Cold roast lamb or beef with tomato sauce. Delicious.

So glad others have mentioned the egg trick. It’s best to press down lightly on the bread on the bottom to make a deeper well for the egg. The egg goes all puffy and it’s lovely.
