Really surprised to see this news is somehow thread-worthy, and surely it wasn't before time considering their evidence keeness to start a family. I thought before now but not really worth a thread. Is it? Better start a thread about aibu to start a thread on the pregnancy

We're not married but I got pregnant almost immediately after myself and partner started seeing each other. We were both 38 and using the pull out 'method' whilst I was waiting to get an appointment about contraception. We're still together and had talked about having a baby so we're very happy, it just happened a lot quicker than we expected.

Me too, straight away, and I was over 30 every time. We should be celebrating how great it is that women can conceive quickly, especially when so many struggle, rather than trying to have a sly dig. They had obviously made the decision to go for it so good for them.
