Lambrusco! White, rose and red. I had to get a bottle for nostalgia's sake. (And its 2.95 a bottle) It was the pre alcho pop fizzy drink of choice. And the red was more sophisticated (ha, who am I kidding?)
Any other long lost drinks that scream big hair and shoulder pads?

I love noilly prat but my now DH hated having to ask for it at the bar

TheCrowFromBelow · 15/10/2018 17:00

Archery I’m so glad you asked that as insured tonwork in a pub and don’t remember that effect from snakebites - it any smell, at least nothing that wasn’t on par with a pint of Black and Tan or a Guinness and orange.

TheCrowFromBelow · 15/10/2018 17:01

Hmm I used to work in a pub. Was probably insured as well though

sashh · 15/10/2018 17:06

Such a disappointment OP I was hoping for black forest gateau.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 15/10/2018 17:21

I was a Black Russian girl, but nineties not eighties. Never made it with Tia Maria though, Kahlua gives a way better drink.

PositivelyPERF · 15/10/2018 18:24

I was a Black Russian girl

Yummy. Have you ever tried it with a Guinness head? Just drop of Guinness and it tastes amazing. You taste the bitterness of the Guinness, then the sweetness of the Black Russian. Drool 🤤

MissTulipan · 15/10/2018 18:32

Blue nun and Thunderbird for me please!

Hushnownobodycares · 15/10/2018 18:49

Malibu and pineapple, ta.

Paul Masson wine carafe for a classy dinner party at home Grin

augustusglupe Lunchtime drinks at the pub were the norm at the bank(s) I worked at too. I never indulged because I didn't want to stay late looking for till differences Grin

I just love a glass of peach Concorde to unwind after a hard day at work. The aromas remind me of biting into a zesty peach and in no way of puking after drinking two bottles at an under 18 disco

It's like they were reading my mind Grin

IncyWincyGrownUp · 15/10/2018 19:40

Positively the only thing Guinness is good for is baking; steak and stout pie, and Guinness chocolate cake.

I’d never drink the damn stuff though! :o

alwaysthepessimist · 15/10/2018 19:45

Southern comfort for me (still is). Lager and double lime shot, mirage and lemonade, martini rosso and lemonade, pernod and lemonade (never again got vv drunk...aniseed vomit....ewww)

PositivelyPERF · 15/10/2018 19:50

I’d never drink the damn stuff though! I demand that you have a blood test, to immediately prove that you’re not Irish. Doesn’t like Guinness! Well I never! 😯
I only drink it with Black Russian

MortyVicar · 15/10/2018 21:00

Blue Nun at the weekend.

Black Tower for a birthday (posher).

Mateus Rose when you were feeling really sophisticated.

Oh the memories.
