Have you all melted yet in this heat??

I thought if you last night Becca Me and dh went out last night for a lovely meal, had the best creme brûlée ever! Fed dh the fruit obviously but the waitress brought over 2 spoons like we were sharing, who just who shares a dessert? Dh knows the rules order you own or go without.

I’ve had a sudden surge in my strawberries growing I think it’s due to the sun, so currently have the second batch of ice cream for today in the ice cream maker.

I know Share and dessert are words that should never be used together. I though my Becca owl would understand.

Have you enough food and meds?
Does your fridge have a little freezer box bit that you could keep ice poles in? If you can have ice poles with the diabetes? Or ice cubes for your drinks at least

Here it’s very warm but they are forecasting even hotter tomorrow! I love sunshine but I like it just enough to not need a coat and put sunglasses on I don’t like being sticky and sweaty

Of course I understand. They're obviously wierdos.
They probably eat things like vegetables and fruit as well.

Got to go out tomorrow. Not holding much hope for it being cooler. No freezer compartment.

My idiot neighbour has just come back and begun bloody cooking!! It's now over 24c in here Sad

There's a blazing row going on here now. Apparently the landlord has put the heating on in the flat above(!) and because idiot neighbour felt hot cooking they decided to open all the doors so now their heating all the flats and theirs is still hot.

Seriously. Why are people so weird/stupid????

hope Somehow you are all managing to keep cool. I am, but by staying indoors. I can't hear it too hot and if affects my breathing. But it will hopefully be ok by late afternoon when I will go out to tidy my garden up a bit as I have a friend flying in from Australia tomorrow.
Do you remember Becca that my friends dh committed suicide and I stayed up so I could be awake as his funeral was going ahead?
Anyway I finally got an email address for her and we have been in touch ever since. They will arrive in my town on Wednesday after seeing a relative somewhere else. It's her and her oldest ds.
It will be strange to see her without her dh. I still don't know what happened and I don't like to ask her. Very sad.

lin yes I remember, I hope it goes ok on Wednesday. Just let her take the lead. I'm sure it'll be strange for her to see you without him as well.

I've no idea what the landlord is playing at.

zing !! How are you??? How's not baby zing??. It's lovely to see you again!

I still have a massive little cake habit and live behind pinks sofa as she feeds me nice things! Currently not very well with an infection I'm praying will clear up otherwise I'll have to go to hospital for treatment.

We're almost at 1000 messages now so will need a new tree soon.

DS1 just finished A levels, DS GSCEs, Zinglette is going into y3 so new school for her...it's all very busy with end if year crap (sportsdays, trips, assemblies etc) and 3 birthdays!

Gotta go, school run.. they have 2 more weeks before breaking up for summer!

I'm glad you're all doing ok. Sounds like a busy few weeks coming up!!

I've let lin know we need a new thread, if she doesn't come along anytime soon then I'll attempt to build one again... Didn't go well last time as we ended up with two and mine was abandoned! Not that I'm bitter much, I just make most lemons jealous
