Thanks. I did actually let a lot about it last summer. Some was helpful but mostly just people telling me to pull myself together (not as polite as that) and those who claimed to know and understand didn't as the treatment they needed was nothing like mine.

Becca I did read your earlier posts but don’t want to say anything about that certain thing as I can imagine even the mention makes you anxious. I can however offer you a warm double chocolate cookie 🍪 with ice cream if your interested??

It’s rained on and off all day here, I don’t like it. I want my sunshine backs, it makes me happy when the sun is out (although not too hot)

DH is out with work tonight so it’s me and Pinkrabbit watching tv together now the dc are asleep

DC are with mil today, she needed cheering up as she had to have her cat put down yesterday. Since fil has died that cat had been a great company to her it stopped going out in the evening and sat on mil lap instead. So am off out for a cooked breakfast with a friend, can’t remember the last time I had a fry up.

I also went out for brekki with my dd and one of my brothers and his wife, our normal Friday ritual. We have no rain today Pink but it did come down in the early hours. It's now nice and warm and the sun is out. Just had my ds and gs round for a cuppa.

Whats the plan today everyone? DS1 still has some pox that haven't scabbed over so we are stuck in. I have no idea what to do with them to keep them amused!

Raid pinks fridge, get meds, get food (yummy obviously) and watch Star Wars. Lovely day here, already traffic piling up with tourists I know I should be pleased for businesses but a small place full of (rude) tourists is a nightmare.

I’ve always thought living in a tourist place must be hell on Earth on busy days. I do go to these places but tend to pick times of year that are less busy after once making the mistake of st ives in August you couldn’t move! And I feel for the locals that can’t even easily get to the shop for bread without fighting the tourists.

Weather is dry here but not sunny, thick hazy cloud. Once dh is back from golf we are going to have a lazy day, dc can play in the garden, picnic style lunch when mil comes over, then baking brownies this afternoon

Some are really disappointed when they come here, the scenery is out of this world, it really is, but there isn't really anything to do here so people get bored and complain A LOT and expect everyone to be sooo grateful they visit us!

Got to get my shopping and meds to be back in time for those brownies!!!

My town is a tourist place Pink we have thousands of visitors here each year, plus foreign students all year round at our uni,s, colleges and individual family homes. It is heaving. But we have a beautiful beach and I understand why people come here. But I don't tend to venture into the town during the real busy season.

That was hellish. Stood looking up our Main Street and couldn't see it!

I know we desperately need tourists but yaboohiss.....

Didn't cope well with it. Still in lot of pain from discussion not to be continued and got a bit panicky and dizzy. That said I went out later than I usually do on a Saturday as I got distracted by MN. Ive signed up for some daily prayer reflections I've found helpful but find myself being distracted and need to be more strict with myself!

Brownie is baked! It will be dessert with double cream tonight. We’ve got my friends over tonight for dinner, but dh is doing all the cooking. I’m going to sit and drink wine with my friends

I got all I needed to get done today, despite tourists.

Was feeling rather proud of myself then had a massive panic attack during my evening meal. I've no idea why, felt really really terrified. I'm going to take a bit of a break from MN I think, nothing huge I'll still be around for cake/treats but I think I can't resist some of the upsetting threads on here and I need to train myself to avoid them. Just stick to the nice places (like behind pinks sofa with pinkrabbit and cake)!

Maybe I just over did or left my meal until too late or my blood sugar spiked but it was really scary. I did get through it though and it lasted much longer than others have so that's saying something. Am exhausted now.

I did get some rest in the end. And then wore myself out today. Ive done nearly 18000 steps!

We went to the park this morning now the last of the pox have scabbed over, then we played in the garden with the water table, which turned into a water fight.

Thanks. Looks like I have a uti which could explain panicky symptoms antibiotics I have are twice a day so I'll need to wait until evening to take them I think. May also explain why increased struggling, along with badly overdoing it yesterday and not resting.

What was much harder than it sounds but it did it. Exhausted now though after bad night.

Social worker cancelled much needed appointment tomorrow because they fancied a day off. Did they tell me? No. Sent me a random email asking me to phone today which I assumed was because struggling so much.

So no support til fuck knows when. Apparently they decided to take this afternoon and all tomorrow off at 10 this morning. Worst thing is had they said no support tomorrow I'd have gone without food to access support. No one else will talk to me as they're "not allowed".

Of all fucking days she chooses this one to mess me around.

If I hadn't rung, in a state I'd never have found out they were on holiday tomorrow and would have wasted money on going there and been as distressed as I am now in reception.

They told receptionist they'd let me know.

Email in response to me saying I'm badly struggling and ill -

"Hi, can you pop in or ring me today? Thanks" sent mid morning and they left at 12 for annual leave. Would you think that was a cancellation??
