On of the more tame conspiracy therorys my dh states as fact!!

When we were younger apparently there were no trails behind planes. I’m not sure tbh.

@CocoDeMoll - what do you think about these un-scientific, perhaps anti-science, beliefs? They’re pretty ‘out there’ for me and I’d be especially unhappy about a partner objecting to vaccinating our children and leaving them exposed to serious preventable diseases.

Control us how? We voted brexit! How is that what they wanted? they were completely unprepared for the result? Surely if Labour government controlled us they would still be in power unless the EVIL conservative party wrestled control from them to change our minds......feeling the need to point out I'm sober here

But life expectancies have been rising and rising. How would that happen if the government were making us ill?
Why make us ill? We work and pay taxes, which is surely what they want.

I definitely couldn't have married anyone who believed that stuff. Frankly I don't think I could stay married to someone who did. Someone who used to be my best friend and I essentially no longer keep in touch at all due to this issue. It's a fundamental disregard for logic and the scientific process, which I hold extremely dear.

Honestly, I would have real difficulties in maintaining a relationship beyond the most superficial of acquaintances, with someone who genuinely believes the things you’ve listed in your posts.

There is a conspiracy about the contrails. Just not what he is thinking.

They are water/ice released in what should be a very dry part of the atmosphere. As such, they have a strong global warming affect that the airline industry has desperately, and successfully , managed to get played down.

I think my favourite is the one where Paul McCartney is actually dead (has been for about 50 years), and the person who we believe to be McCartney is in fact the bloke who was a decoy for McCartney back in the day. (Lookalikes who come out the front of the venue while the real performers sneak out the back to avoid a mobbing!) There are forums of people discussing it earnestly for pages and pages. 😆

We did have our kids vaccinated but only because I’m in charge of child related things.

Sadly all his therorys are very fun of the mill mundane. We’re all being kept I’ll and weak by vaccines and meds. The government are using mind control through our screens and in our skies etc. No lizard beliefs unfortunately
