Sean, who I really liked, loved his enthusiasm and was starting to find him weirdly attractive (even if he does sometimes look like a mouth breather) was in a relationship with somebody who was so proud of him on Saturday, was in tears. She has been totally supportive of him and Katy’s. And then they had a full on snog on his gf birthday. I know we all make mistakes but it looks callous and totally humiliating for his gf. If he wanted a fling with his dance party (assuming her OH was cool with it) he should have finished with his gf.

Their tweeted apologies are a cynical damage limitation exercise.

This has got to hurt his voting. Even if her OH is not bothered, the viewers know about it and will be watching out for awkwardness. I feel sorry for the production, presenters and fellow celebs.

The difference as well between Matt/Flavia and Seann/Katya is that the Strictly Production team were very much on their toes with the former and started selling it as "Schoolboy with a crush on teacher Bless 'im" narrative. It feels like everyone had their guard down on this.

Flavia and Matt was also before social media as we know it now had truly taken off and Strictly discussion was mostly on Digital Spy.

Marian Keyes has tweeted that she is no longer supporting Seann and his girlfriend has replied asking to be friends.
