How do you make your coffee?

I am bored sooo tell me how you make your coffee?! I do coffee, milk then water as my mother always taught me that the water burns the coffee without milk in there first?

My friend does coffee, water then milk and i can't help but think it tastes different! Wether it's that my brain knows she done it that way or it actually does taste different i don't know!

Same way as you! I was also told hot water burns the coffee. I mix the milk and coffee into a paste then add hot water. People always say I make a good coffee... probably just so I'll make the next one though

Aha so i've been doing it the right way! Everyone tells me i make a good coffee too! Milk in with the teabag is just criminal though!!!

Milk added to coffee while the kettle is boiling to allow it to dissolve into the milk properly, then water.

Never, ever put milk in tea before removing the teabag though.

I’m a lazy cow and use the pod machine.
But question if you’re using freeze dried (not powdery like that fancy azera) if you add the cold milk to the coffee isn’t it really hard to dissolve?

Grind beans in hand grinder
Tip into inverted Aeropress
Boil water to 90C, pour on coffee
Stir, press coffee into mug
Add milk

Coffee sugar milk then into a paste then boiling water and it's much more smoother and creamy. My dad does the opposite and it's very strong and bitter

Putting milk last just makes it all taste like a cup of hot water. Always let the water cool for a min too as boiling water isnt the best for coffee making as it burns it

Yes, the freeze dried stuff dissolves in cold milk, we buy whatever's on offer for work so I use all sorts. It definitely tastes creamier and less bitter than if you add the milk after the water.

I do 2 scoops coffee granules (Percol is my favourite), boiled water, 30ml double cream (I'm on a low carb diet ha!) and a shot of sugar and calorie free butterscotch syrup. Sooo rich and delicious. Don't eat anything til 5pm and have my coffee late morning and it keeps me full all day.

Italian ground espresso, Aeropress, invert method, top up with hot water to make a black Americano.

Do has a coffee dropper thing. He puts the filter paper in, puts a scoop of ground coffee in and pours hot (but not boiling) water over fairly slowly. When he's poured enough water in and the resulting coffee has filled the bucket mug high enough, he chucks the used ground coffee and the paper away. He pours milk into his drink and adds a spoonful of brown sugar.

you heathen! Always pour the freshly boiled water onto the teabag, leave for 5 minutes, stir, remove the bag and only then do you add the milk! Better still, make the tea in a teapot and then pour it into the cup and add the milk. It's so much nicer because it doesn't brew properly if you let the milk touch the teabag.

Tip coffee into the machine (it's not food, go away - to the cats). Fill with water. Put pot under the nozzle and switch on. Pour contents into a mug.
I generally only drink coffee in the morning, strong, black and without sugar. Anyone else who wants a coffee knows how to make their own. I'm very grumpy until I've gone through my routine.

Cold pressed. Then I add oatly barista, and sweet freedom dark chocolate syrup. Absolutely LUSH.

Weigh beans
Grind beans
re weigh beans
Weigh water
Add water and coffee to moccamaster
Wait for 4 minutes for coffee.

A lot less faff than it sounds and quicker than a chemex or v60 in the mornings.

Use small plastic £2 drip filter holder which sits on mugs. Pre ground coffee into filter. Just off boiling water onto grounds. Few mins later excellent coffee. Nothing to clean. Grounds in compatible filter paper - so easy. Use oatly afterwards. Only reason is i doubt ability to judge how much if I put it in mug first. Judge ‘milk’ amount by colour. Tea the same - ALWAYS milk after brewing.
