For me it's going to a big home shop with my uncle, mum and sister. They have so many little stalls and brands and they have an actual Christmas display. I always think even if you've got a busy week there's something to look forward to. Even if it is just having an early finish at work or the fact there's a chilled wine in the fridge.

What's the one thing you're looking forward to out of life?

I'm looking forward to cuddles with my new baby nephew who was born this morning 💙.

bettybyebye · 16/09/2018 20:05

Seeing 5yo Ds get a certificate at the school celebration tomorrow morning. He has just started yr 1 after a difficult reception year so we are very proud!

Millie2013 · 16/09/2018 20:05

Meeting a friend for coffee tomorrow Flowers
Meeting a colleague and going to a conference on Wednesday, apparently the cake at this venue is good, so that may have influenced my thinking 😂

PavlovaFaith · 16/09/2018 20:09

My birthday surprise!

Chottie · 16/09/2018 20:10

Knitting group tomorrow evening :)

liquidrevolution · 16/09/2018 20:12

At the moment nowt. DD is on her first full week at school in reception class including wraparound care and I am so busy at work and behind with projects due it will take me months to get even again let alone while dealing with a tantrumming tired child.

Im out at a clients on Thursday and their on site cafe has nice brownies I guess.

MorningsEleven · 16/09/2018 20:12

Four hours all alone on Tuesday apart from the dog. I start a new job the week after so I'm planning to eat jaffa cakes prepare for new challenges.

Bunnybigears · 16/09/2018 20:13

Me and DH having a weekday off work together.

thismeansnothing · 16/09/2018 20:13

Tuesday. It's pay day and I've been holding off getting the finishing touches for our porch we've decorated. Mainly a nice new clean white coat rack. And a framed print of Lancashire that I'm going to put on the other wall

Sharkwithknees · 16/09/2018 20:13

Finishing work on Friday afternoon 😂

TheFutureMrsB · 16/09/2018 20:17

Having a whole week off work Grin

Birdsgottafly · 16/09/2018 20:22

I'm going to a new place for lunch on Wednesday, with my youngest. We've got a Wowcher half price offer. She's getting her hair coloured and I'm going to the Estee Lauder counter in Boots, to try double wear.

NCPuffin · 16/09/2018 20:24

ANiceLentilHotpot · 16/09/2018 20:24

Sharkwithknees same here. Grin

Can't think of anything else!

Kione · 16/09/2018 20:25

NCPuffin, lovely!!!

Me, getting my new ebike and hoping to receive some perfume in the post.

HotSauceCommittee · 16/09/2018 20:28

@NCPuffin you definitely win. I hope your baby slips out easily with a satisfying pop.
I’m looking forward to my four rest days after working six days straight (yeah, over the weekend) and then walking nine miles of the coast path with a friend. We might even walk 18 of it if she makes me walk back.

JoyceDivision · 16/09/2018 20:30

Being able to look at a very lovely chap who is very easy on the eye at work Blush

My secret crush that cheers me up in an otherwise rubbish job ATM.

Payday

Having a day out with DD at weekend going coffee shop hunting in York for good cake and hot chocolate.

HeyMicky · 16/09/2018 20:32

Tap class on Thursday. I haven't had my tap shoes on for about 15 years

whichwaytodublin · 16/09/2018 20:34

Joyce brew and brownie is your friend in York! I'm looking forward to having a doctors appointment on Friday morning, not the actual appointment, but it's at 9.30 and 2 mins from my house so I get a nice lie in and late start at work!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 16/09/2018 20:35

Tuesday morning coffee. My weekly treat and my only weekday pastry Smile

MsSquiz · 16/09/2018 20:35

Weirdly, I am looking forward to going to our local Marie Curie hospice tomorrow. It would have been my mum's 60th birthday but she died last year while at the hospice.
We are donating money under their "pay for a day" scheme where you pay for the running costs of the hospice in memory of someone.
We are also taking about 80 cupcakes down with us to give to the amazing staff at the hospice and hopefully see the nurses who spent her last night with her and me - I never got to say thank you 😊

I will then be cracking open a bottle of champagne in her memory

parrotonmyshoulder · 16/09/2018 20:40

My best friend of 30 years is coming to stay for 3 nights with her baby. She is an ex-pat so we don’t see each other often. Shame I have to work, but the evenings will be lovely.

ninecoronas · 16/09/2018 20:40

@NCPuffin ooh definitely! I'm due one on Weds myself but it may or may not turn up on time and anyway it's number two so kinda old hat Grin

@MsSquiz that sounds a great scheme.

applecatchers36 · 16/09/2018 20:40

Looking after my baby niece while her mum goes to the beauty salon

mumof2sarah · 16/09/2018 20:44

Awww I love all these. Congratulations and good luck to those having new babies and starting new jobs.

@MsSquiz I just wanted to pass on my deepest sympathies about your mum but was to also say what an absolutely wonderful thing you're doing, I'm sure she'd be so proud of you. Sending you an extra love today and for the week ahead x
