Name one thing you're looking forward to this week..

For me it's going to a big home shop with my uncle, mum and sister. They have so many little stalls and brands and they have an actual Christmas display. I always think even if you've got a busy week there's something to look forward to. Even if it is just having an early finish at work or the fact there's a chilled wine in the fridge.

What's the one thing you're looking forward to out of life?

@Nogodsnomasters that sounds like heaven. I always find I spent less going on my own then with the kids or dp. Enjoy it xx

@GrumpyOldMare aww well then have fun doing your stuff. I find if I laze all day I feel low in my mood so I do see where you're coming from. Enjoy your week what ever you end up doing to keep you going xx

I'm on a course on Wednesday. It's a long day but I get 2 hours each way on the train, so I can listen to my audiobook. I don't have to do cm drop off or pick up for dd2. I get to spend the day talking about grown up stuff, to grown up people, who are interested in the same stuff as me Grin. Then I've left myself 2 hours in a different city before my train home, so I can explore by myself, without anyone talking to me or pestering for anything. It's going to be bliss!!!!

Getting back from a week long work trip. I cannot wait until Friday. Was away last week as well and miss my DC’s!!!

On Friday we're driving up to Boston for parents weekend at DS's university. It's his first year and we miss him to bits. They have lots of activities planned, including a traditional New England lobster bake on Saturday. His younger sister is coming with us and we're bringing his winter clothes, a clothing rack (no closet in his dorm room!) and all of the odds and ends that didn't fit in the car two weeks ago when we went up the first time.

@FaithInfinity - that's great! we're getting some rain on Tuesday (the remnants of hurricane Florence) but after that the weather looks lovely. Let me know if you have any last minute questions I can answer about things to do in the city.

@MissConductUS enjoy your weekend with your son lovely. My DD1 wants to go to university and I'm so proud and happy for her but I'm so anxious at the same time. Still a cpl of years before that happens though thank goodness. Lots of love xx

Not working my one shift a fortnight at a job I didn't really like. I had a day off approved, then handed in my notice so my final shift would fall on the week I wasn't there anyway.

Oh,and I start my new job which suits us a lot better & is the same hours as two of my jobs were put together :)
