19th. It’s the Wednesday in the following week.

If you’d said this on Monday the 17th, Id assume you meant the 26th

But if you asked the same question on Monday 17th, I would say you meant the 26th. (coz the 19th would then be 'this wednesday' coz you're in the same week)

My calendar says next Wednesday is the day after next Tuesday. 19th. As in, the next Wednesday after today!

If you said ‘Wednesday week’ that’d be 26th.

(Because that's next week. On Sunday, IMO, the 19th will become 'this Wednesday' and next will be the 26th).

It's a generation thing, I'd say 26th my Mum the 19th.

My logic is this Wednesday is the 19th and next is the 26th.

My Mum's logic is next Wednesday is the 19th as that's the next one - my question to her is so using that logic what is this Wednesday then? Confused

I always give the day and the date to be doubly sure!

Are you free on Wednesday? = 19th

Are you free next Wednesday? = might mean either 19th or 26th depending, so I’d clarify what you meant.
