Tell me about the good things that have happened today...

I'm struggling at the moment with MH issues that are refusing to let up and part of that is I'm struggling to see the good in the world.

It must exist so I'm asking MN to help me to see it.

So far today I have,

the lovely person who sent me a lovely pm today,
the patient at the pharmacy who went and picked up my meds for me so I didn't need to struggle and,
the person who told me they care.

So, what's yours?

Oh and yesterday the dogs visit to the vet didn’t cost as much as I expected 👍

Managed to get out this morning despite anxiety attack! Had help when i needed it and saw a minister I've not seen for awhile.

Took my bestie food shopping!

On Monday I thought my phone had been stolen and rang Talkmobile to cancel the SIM. I was a bit gutted about the cost, the hassle, the potential for being hacked, losing the contacts but glad DH recently backed up the photos. On Tuesday I decided to ring the local bus company lost property just in case...and they had not only my phone but mine and DS's bus passes. I rang Talkmobile and they've un-cancelled the SIM and I'm back to normal. thanks to a kind soul handing my phone and our bus passes in.

DS2's copy of Frozen arrived.

I got to see my GP and a friend today at the surgery.

Everything else is shit. But that's good!!

My day off work - bought two new tops in the fat face sale. Then had a delicious chai latte and carrot cake in the cafe.

The person who sent me a lovely email that was so kind.

I came out to a friend about an aspect of my mental health that had affected her. I had spent the last week stressing about it. Luckily she was so lovely about it.

Saw Mike Leigh's new film last night (Peterloo). Excellent and Mr Leigh came on after the film for a few questions.

I am really worried about money, and went to bed last night trying to do that manifestation / law of attraction thing. Woke up this morning to an email off an old friend who I haven’t spoke to in years, saying he has just received the list of people who donated when he had an accident abroad and needed emergency treatment and he wants to pay us all back. I am so touched he got in touch at just this moment, not even for the money aspect, but because it gave me hope and made me smile that he was well and happy enough to be in a position to do that now.

Mine for today, the lovely people who understood about tonsillitis I saw today I'm ignoring everyone else who pissed me off the suggestions on my thread about being ill and living alone, some food for thought there.

The understanding nurse and GP I saw even if they gave me bad news!

Just kind people today made me happy and I'm going to shower soon and then do bad things to boyfriend.
