CBB 'punch' incident. Views?

Not sure about this as it is highly irritating to have someone jumping around you pretend to 'box' and he could have poked her by accident. She was in a car accident recently and could be tender there. Some could say she had a right to complain even though he was obviously not deliberately trying to hurt her.

The asking for him to be removed from the house (if she did that) and claims that he'd 'beaten her up' were a complete overreaction of though.

He did nothing. It was a non incident. She’s a drama queen...

MarthasGinYard · 01/09/2018 19:27

I think this goes far deeper than 'drama queen'

Redglitter · 01/09/2018 19:29

She left because "Ben" got evicted

She left because she heard the crowd chanting to get her out & realised not only had the public got the measure of her but that the others would no doubt start questioning her version of events knowing the public were against her. I bet the thought of exiting to a hostile reception made her decision for her

youarenotkiddingme · 01/09/2018 19:36

I read somewhere her DH in Emmerdale (think actor is called Kelvin?) said she's evil.

I'm in 2 minds about the MH thing. I certainly am a believer that people who behave so extraordinarily to 'norms' have some sort of personality disorder.
She clearly genuinely believes her own narrative - but what persuaded her to continually play a phoney narrative in her life?

DigsysDiner · 01/09/2018 19:37

I havent watched BB for years but switched on to see what all the.fuss was about.

The footage of her after the eviction is very telling, she'd obviously processed the consequences of her actions after hearing the chanting........im more angry because women have thought to be heard for years. Even my dp who lives with his head wedged in the clouds on a permanent basis commented that women like her are bloody dangerous and could effect the way real victims are viewed.

worridmum · 01/09/2018 20:35

So she has mental problems because she is a liar.

Do you give men you abuse their partners such treatment saying he has mental illnesses for abusing woman ? no thought not (Though most violent men and more generally violent people do have mental illnesses from a whole host of things).

Hayles88 · 01/09/2018 20:42

Her career is over, hopefully. She is a nasty, spiteful human who deserves everything she gets now. Women like her are the reason people say things such as "women cry rape" and "oh she exaggerated the abuse"... because cunts like her manipulate situations and think how she did. People disbelieve women all the time and all the time women like her play the "abuse" card.

I have been sexually abused and disbelieved, between and luckily evidence was there but it would have been so easy for it to have been thrown out if it wasn't for decent police officers. I have had, now ex friends, falsely claim abuse/rape to get out of cheating or get ahead in situations. They happily admit and get caught out like RP has. While people like her behave like this, women will have to fight harder for their cases to be believed.

She is a nasty little witch and has been shown for what she is. Considering she had recently acted a DV storyline, she should have known better but hell a cunt is a cunt.

The articles stating the years that she dated Richard Fleeshman must be incorrect. They state that they dated from 2001-2007 [1] except that he was born in 1989 [2] which would have made him just TWELVE.

IamPickleRick · 02/09/2018 00:08

So he was 12 and she was 19? I am confused.

Redglitter · 02/09/2018 00:17

According to another article they started dating when he was 16 til he was 23 The photos of them together he certainly looks in that age range. The maths certainly don't add up

www.ok.co.uk/celebrity-news/1455797/roxanne-pallet-ex-boyfriend-coronation-street-actor-richard-fleeshman-breaks-silence

It’s in other sources as well but perhaps they have copied dates from each other.

DioneTheDiabolist · 02/09/2018 00:50

According to her wiki page, she met Fleeshman in 2006.

IamPickleRick · 02/09/2018 01:01

17 then Hmm Something doesn’t add up here. There are articles preCBB which say 2001 as well but they are all the “whoisdatingwho” websites. Perhaps the Sun et al just copied it from that without checking dates. V odd.

MyDarlingWhatIfYouFly · 02/09/2018 01:04

She's a past DV victim. When I eventually left my awful relationship I lost my shut every time a male friend play punched, tickled or touched me. I saw aggression everywhere.

The CBB house is a deliberately high pressure, high tension place. The producers love stuff like this and the whole set up is to encourage it.

So a past DV victim is punched playfully in a pressure cooker and she loses it. Big surprise.

I actually think it's just as damaging to DV victims for people to automatically call one deceitful, liar, butch etc just because they don't understand their reaction to something that looks harmless, but may not be to them.

She might just be a horrible person, but rather than commit career suicide i think it's much more likely that she just lost her head in a high pressure environment.

dentie · 02/09/2018 01:14

I actually think it's just as damaging to DV victims for people to automatically call one deceitful, liar, butch etc just because they don't understand their reaction to something that looks harmless, but may not be to them

But it's not her reaction to something that people are mad about. It's the out and out lies. He did not punch her repeatedly in the ribs.

IHaveBrilloHair · 02/09/2018 01:19

She carried on the lie for ages too, it's awful.

CarolDanvers · 02/09/2018 01:52

who has lied and slandered a decent married man.

He's not married and what difference would it make if he was?

GreenTulips · 02/09/2018 01:56

Actually when asked 'do you think he tried to hurt you on purposely?' She couldn't be or wouldnt answer

DioneTheDiabolist · 02/09/2018 01:59

I'm glad you got out MyDarlingWhatIfYouFly. Thanks

SPOFS · 02/09/2018 02:03

She was in the wrong, but there is no need for a witch hunt.

Ryan will probably win now.

dustarr73 · 02/09/2018 02:16

She told Ben that Ryan punched her.She was hoping for a showdown
And it backfired.

There is no excuse for her behaviour. None

lostinjapan · 02/09/2018 03:25

She's a past DV victim.

Correction: She claims to be a past DV victim. Is there any actual evidence to support that allegation? She lied about being viciously assaulted by Ryan, she’s been called a ‘known compulsive liar’ by an Emmerdale co-star, and two other actors have come forward to say she falsely accused them of assaulting her in separate incidents. How can you be so sure she was telling the truth about the alleged domestic violence?

It’s just really lucky that the cameras picked up the Ryan incident (which apparently wasn’t a given, as there weren’t many cameras filming at the time), otherwise the ‘we believe you’ crew would be calling for Ryan to be removed from the house and to never work on TV again.

Tinywhale · 02/09/2018 04:19

I seem to remember that she started going out with Richard Fleeshman after they were in a TV singing show together. Googling suggests that it was Soapstar Superstar in 2006 link God only knows why I remember this, but I do. I think the 2001 is just a mistake.

It's very telling that so many of Ryan's co-workers have publicly supported him, yet none of her's have had anything positive to say about her.

AstralTraveller · 02/09/2018 06:35

I'm with Lostinjapapan. No way would I continue to believe she was the victim of DV after this episode.

I am staggered at the lies but also the attempted manipulation of those around her. Does she not get the concept of BB and that everything is on video or audio FFS! If she's like this knowing it's all recorded, whatever is she like behind closed doors. I wouldn't want to be in the same county as her for fear of allegations.

BonnesVacances · 02/09/2018 07:00

I don't believe that she's a past DV victim. She actually said (to Ben in the toilet?) that this was the first time it had happened to her.
