CBB 'punch' incident. Views?

Not sure about this as it is highly irritating to have someone jumping around you pretend to 'box' and he could have poked her by accident. She was in a car accident recently and could be tender there. Some could say she had a right to complain even though he was obviously not deliberately trying to hurt her.

The asking for him to be removed from the house (if she did that) and claims that he'd 'beaten her up' were a complete overreaction of though.

Why do people on mumsnet always support the women involved, even when they are in the wrong

What thread are you reading? Haven't Seen a single comment on this thread or the ongoing CBB thread in support of her. Not one. Outside of MN nobody apart from her fiancé has a good word to say about her.

IHaveBrilloHair · 01/09/2018 16:41

The fact that she has no support at all online is very telling

DioneTheDiabolist · 01/09/2018 16:47

Will this woman's actions mean that other women are less likely to believed when they disclose domestic violence?
I hope not.Sad However it is a risk. And one that she took, despite her knowledge that this is a problem for DV sufferers.Angry

youarenotkiddingme · 01/09/2018 16:50

Very interesting mirror article.

Nice to see a man saying her actions will make it hard for those who need to be believed.

Don't watch big brother but seen this as in so much media. Just watched clip in that article - it was such a non event compared to what I was expecting Confused

I agree air boxing can be intimidating - but tell the person and ask them to stop.

PollyFlinderz · 01/09/2018 16:51

Vicious and manipulative little witch

In a nutshell.

AstralTraveller · 01/09/2018 16:57

I think it's shocking that despite it being on film and the incident being nothing like the woman described, CBB have handled it the way they have. CBB should have either ignored her which would have been difficult but possible or they could both have been taken into the diary room in private and words could have been had with both of them.

bringbacksideburns · 01/09/2018 16:59

I think Ryan has been treated appallingly. She said she didn't feel 'safe' and slept in a room away from him. He did sod all.

She manipulated Ben and panicked when he left and she heard the crowds yelling for her.

BB gave Ryan a formal warning and filmed him distressed and in tears and offered him no support. Would they have done that if he was a woman?
Knowing from the footage there was no violent punch and he was innocent?

I didn't watch the rest of the show so don't know how she was coming across the rest of the time but the whole thing was very odd and the psychologists on that programme should be sacked!

LondonLassInTheCountry · 01/09/2018 17:01

She is the kind of female that gets a innocent man into trouble

She is a liar and needs mental heath care

She didnt leave because Ryan "punched" her. She left because "Ben" got evicted

MyCatIsBonkers · 01/09/2018 17:06

She left because she realised the public hadn't fallen for her bullshit.

FanciedAChangeToday · 01/09/2018 17:11

Interesting comment LondonLassinTheCountry - Why do you say MH care? Just seems like a complete OTT drama queen to me

LondonLassInTheCountry · 01/09/2018 17:14

Maybe something has happened in her life to make her like this...

Equally, maybe she just wanted to ruin him...

But i think she needs to be assessed by a doctor

StarWarsHolidaySpecial · 01/09/2018 17:15

I feel very sorry for Ryan. I really hope BB have given him some reassurance because I think the poor bloke will be really terrified about what he may face when he gets out.

Cantstopworryingaboutit · 01/09/2018 17:23

I don't think her behaviour can be excused by mental illness, and is insulting to those with a mental illness. She's not a nice lady, plain and simple.

LondonLassInTheCountry · 01/09/2018 17:24

Its not insulting for people with a mental illness..

Mental health comes in all different kind of forms

StarWarsHolidaySpecial · 01/09/2018 17:27

What mental health problem do you think causes this sort of behaviour?

FanciedAChangeToday · 01/09/2018 17:30

I expect she will use "MH" problems and "it brought back memories of an assault I'd bravely never spoken of" as a reason for her behaviour. And to gain sympathy. I am pretty sure they must be assessed by a doctor before they go in there so something would have been picked up beforehand

LokiBear · 01/09/2018 17:30

PTSD, paranoid delusions.

LokiBear · 01/09/2018 17:31

She is a narcissist.

LondonLassInTheCountry · 01/09/2018 17:33

There are more than 200 forms of mental illness. Some of the more common disorders are depression, bipolar disorder, dementia, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders. Symptoms may include changes in mood, personality, personal habits social withdrawal and so on.
Some are lying. Stealing and being violent

StarWarsHolidaySpecial · 01/09/2018 17:37

I know what mental illnesses are and how they manifest. I'm asking what mental illness you think she is suffering from.

premiertav · 01/09/2018 17:40

The only thing she suffers for is being an absolute cunt. People want to stop trying to excuse her despicable behaviour as M.H. and see her for what she really is.

MadMum101 · 01/09/2018 17:45

From the sounds of it she has a shit personality. Wonder if that's classed as a mental illness under the DSM-IV

WTBE · 01/09/2018 17:49

Whilst at most it could be annoying someone "shadow boxing" around you, calling for him to be sacked from the show and scared to be in the same room as him again? Give over.

Using emotive language to manipulate people "he punched me like he would punch a boxing bag" I think it was, Or "I've been repeatedly punched in my side by a man and no one is doing anything"

I'm glad she has walked and I hope it does not effect how DV incidents are handled in the future.

RebootYourEngine · 01/09/2018 18:56

I dont think she has MH issues i think she is just a dangerous lying manipulative bitch.

IHaveBrilloHair · 01/09/2018 18:57

I don't think she does either, but I bet that'll be the story, plus some made up DV in her past.
