CBB 'punch' incident. Views?

Not sure about this as it is highly irritating to have someone jumping around you pretend to 'box' and he could have poked her by accident. She was in a car accident recently and could be tender there. Some could say she had a right to complain even though he was obviously not deliberately trying to hurt her.

The asking for him to be removed from the house (if she did that) and claims that he'd 'beaten her up' were a complete overreaction of though.

@theaveragewife so a 'victim' is only allowed to be called a victim if they suffered public humiliation and did so for a certain length of time?

If your robbed tomorrow but get your possessions back two days later are you no longer a victim of crime?

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:16

He was an accused person who was almost instantly vindicated.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:17

There wasn’t an incident. No one is a victim.

Have you actually been watching? If so, you're perfectly OK with someone trying to turn people against another person, alienate them, upset them, falsely accuse them of being a "wife beater" and be seemingly hellbent on destroying them and only stopping as they were found out?
Wow if so. OK. Says a lot then.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:18

It was kept up for a few days in the house. It only stopped as she had no choice to as it was caught on camera.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:18

Yeahhh..... didn’t say I was ok with any of that.

Are you a family member rainbows?

Coco2891 · 04/09/2018 23:19

Hardly almost instantly ! He was accused of something awful he didn't do , isolated from the group and given a formal warning 🙄 for something he didn't do!! That clearly affected his mental health

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 23:19

He was an accused person who was almost instantly vindicated.

so that would make him a victim.

CuntyMcFuckerson · 04/09/2018 23:19

No, you could see it? I had no idea? There's me been caught out. Hmm

For shame. 😭

MurunBuchstansagur · 04/09/2018 23:21

Ryan is starting to come across a bit twattish. He’s got a bit too confident now he’s sure everyone is on his side I think.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:21

Were any of you on the Ched Evans or Belfast four threads out of interest?

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:23

so that would make him a victim.

Nope

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 23:23

OK so you don't actually understand the word then.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:24

Yeahhh..... didn’t say I was ok with any of that

So why are you saying he's not a victim as nothing happened then? Because if you have seen it, and you''re not OK with any of that, why would you say nah, he's not a victim, nothing happened?
Because it clearly did.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:26

It was all on camera, he didn’t know most of it was happening, he is going to be fine..:in fact this will have done wonders for his public profile......all from the entertainment show he signed up for

Like I say, were you outraged about the Belfast four outcome?

GunpowderGelatine · 04/09/2018 23:27

Well said theangrywife. What Roxanne did was awful but Ryan is not a victim in the sense people who suffer actual DV are victims. The desperation to paint him as a broken man on here is very odd. He will be fine

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:29

And it happened over the space of no more than three days - do you not have the ability to see the impact this will have on women who are currently not believed when physical crimes actually occurred????

I really am going to have to give up now......should have taken the hint earlier about arguing with stupid.

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 23:29

So if it happened in a place of work that would be ok?
If it happened in a college it would be ok?
If it happened in a school it would be ok?

In any of these places what happened to him would make him a victim of bullying.

Gotthetshirt68 · 04/09/2018 23:29

This type of show encourages bullying and people being disrespectful to one another .
Good riddens BB

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:30

I’m loving the very apt mistype of my mn name Gunpowder Grin nice to see you in passing!

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:31

It was all on camera, he didn’t know most of it was happening
He was brought in for a formal warning, had people turning their backs on him and questioning him in the house, to the extent he knew they were all talking about it when he wasn't there.

Also comes across as that's OK then, if you can't see people spreading shit behind your back, you'll be fine. Nice.

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 23:32

theaveragewife

It may surprise you to find out that people on a thread about CBB are talking about CBB and not rape.

If that is so hard to understand those calling others stupid could do well to look in the mirror.

GunpowderGelatine · 04/09/2018 23:32

Like I say, were you outraged about the Belfast four outcome?

Of course they're not, people on here don't want to discuss actual assaults or anything, they just want us to be sobbing into our coco pops about a soap star who may or may not be hurt about someone overreacting to what he did (and who will certainly recover reputation and career-wise).

I don't know if you saw the post from someone who said that being accused of rape is as bad as being raped? This is the low opinion people have of women

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 23:33

I agree

Good riddens BB

You've got to hope that someone will see sense and pull the plug.

GunpowderGelatine · 04/09/2018 23:33

Oops sorry average Grin

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:34

What Roxanne did was awful but Ryan is not a victim in the sense people who suffer actual DV are victims.

Nobody has said that at all, that he's not the same type of victim of dv victims.
Apart from yourself and a small handful of others who keep trying to conflate the two. There is more than one type of victim, you know.
