Not sure about this as it is highly irritating to have someone jumping around you pretend to 'box' and he could have poked her by accident. She was in a car accident recently and could be tender there. Some could say she had a right to complain even though he was obviously not deliberately trying to hurt her.

The asking for him to be removed from the house (if she did that) and claims that he'd 'beaten her up' were a complete overreaction of though.

Me too, theaveragewife.

Roxanne is clearly a nightmare, but I think the vigilante mentality towards her is getting out of hand.

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 22:12

theaveragewife

Roxanne has made a man concerned for his future for the maximum of two weeks.

Its good to know that you know him so well, and can state this for an absolute fact and not some made up nonsense.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 22:14

What is not factual about the fact he’s in there for no more than two weeks? He will be put on a pedestal when he comes out, if he doesn’t already know he’s fine he absolutely will.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 22:19

Women have had their lives ruined through not being believed

Nobody's disputing that, far too many women have had their lives ruined by being believed.
In this instance though, if the cameras weren't there, she was trying to discredit and ruin him with the serious accusation of domestic violence.
Jermaine Pennant has apparently come out saying she'd said she was threatening to take her claims to the top.
He is SO lucky having camera footage, if this is true she obviously was out for him.

Roxanne has made a man concerned for his future for the maximum of two weeks

Only because she was caught out! She obviously was not letting it drop otherwise.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 22:24

Jermaine also took the opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and accuse Chloe of lying....first instance of a woman lying being used as a scapegoat following RP - and he didn’t have even a 10th of the grilling RP had from Emma or the public.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 22:26

Save your empathy for people who need it.

It matters that you don't know the mental impact that this may have on him.
I -like you- have no idea how he will respond, but saying he will be fine, he will get over it, its only two weeks when you don't know is as bad as going back to 'real men should hide their feelings'

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 22:32

I do. Confused I'm perfectly capable of feeling empathy for all people, not just a few.

DioneTheDiabolist · 04/09/2018 22:35

There is no fucking point
In engaging that is.

I agree. Let's get back to the matter in hand for there is much to be discussed.GrinGrinGrin

I heard RP has been fired from Panto as well as her DJ job. Is that true?

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 22:36

but saying he will be fine, he will get over it, its only two weeks when you don't know is as bad as going back to 'real men should hide their feelings'

Exactly, and it's totally minimising, which apparently isn't happening on here - oh, he'll be fine, it was only two weeks, he'll get over it.... nobody knows that. Yes, he may well be fine, but he may well not be either.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 22:39

I heard RP has been fired from Panto as well as her DJ job. Is that true

Apparently not in her panto role anymore according to reports.

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 22:41

I genuinely hope you do have empathy for everyone not just male celebrities with iron clad support systems and ways of securing their future financial stability within the year.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 22:42

Of course I do, anyone a victim I have empathy for. Male or female.

Coco2891 · 04/09/2018 22:43

My interpretation of her interview with Emma was that she felt very sorry for herself -I've seen this sort of behaviour before when people like her don't get their own way and I think she'll do something dramatic to try and stop the backlash

I'm shocked that cbb producers allowed this to escalate the way it did

If only female rape victims (6% of those who manage to go to trial...and secure convictions) were afforded the same luxury of societal acceptance and future security. At least they didn’t have two weeks of an unsure future in the bb house....oh hold on no...they were penetrated against their will, often repeatedly and more likely by someone close to them who they trusted like a family member or husband.

All I’m saying is there should be more outrage for these people.

Roxy is a fucking nightmare who lied but Ryan is not the victim here. He hasn’t even had the widely renowned ‘trial by media’ because he’s in a secured house away from society.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 22:52

but Ryan is not the victim here

In the house, it was him who was the victim. Just how was Roxy the victim in it all then?

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/09/2018 22:58

theaveragewife

but Ryan is not the victim here

are you misunderstanding the term victim?

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:03

I didn’t say she was - I don’t think she is. I said she’s a fucking nightmare if you read just above your post you will see that.

I’m trying to put across the message that this anger and sympathy felt for Ryan would be better spent on victims of actual physical assault/rape who don’t have the luxury of the support of the country and future stability mapped out. There is a difference between actual physical rape and abuse and a small period of time where you have been accused of something you haven’t done.

It disgusts me that Roxy has lied about being assaulted, mainly because it will make it easier for the misogynists and people who want to disbelieve women to have a story to quote and rely on - Jermaine did it as soon as he left the house.

CuntyMcFuckerson · 04/09/2018 23:03

Gunpowder, thank you for a lot of interesting posts on this thread. You've genuinely made me stop and think about stuff. And you've been very patient in the face of some utter nonsense. It's all here to be read over and over and you have NOT been contradictory.

Some people are making themselves look quite thick foolish.

chasinggarlic · 04/09/2018 23:07

Roxy is a fucking nightmare who lied but Ryan is not the victim here

Who the fuck is then?

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:09

I said she’s a fucking nightmare if you read just above your post you will see that.
You did say that, yes. I said in the house though, it was Ryan the victim, not Roxy, so how is he "not the victim here?"

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:10

Who the fuck is then?

Exactly Hmm Who was the victim in the house which is the incident we are all talking about?

theaveragewife · 04/09/2018 23:12

There wasn’t an incident. No one is a victim.

rainbowsandsmiles · 04/09/2018 23:13

Cunty - you can still see digs when they're striked out, you know.
If we're doing digs, I'll say it is obvious to see some men issues with some on here.
